McDonald’s has confirmed it is bringing back three fan favourite menu items in time for Easter, including an entrée fans ‘crave the taste of’ all year round.
This year, we’ve seen the return of the Shamrock Shake, the launch of a brand-new Tikka Chicken Wrap, and the roll-out of ‘adult-friendly’ Happy Meals at McDonald’s featuring mini figures inspired by the beloved US sitcom, Friends.
The fast-food chain also revealed plans to kick off a collectable card game and upcoming changes to its reward system.
On 17 March, McDonald’s is orchestrating a major menu overhaul, adding a slew of new and returning items.
Advert
To celebrate Easter, participating establishments will once again begin selling McFlurries featuring Cadbury Mini Eggs and Creme Eggs, alongside a new frappe.
Excitingly, there are also three returning savoury staples: Spicy Chicken McNuggets, the gargantuan Double Big Mac, and the Double Big Mac with Bacon.
Spicy Chicken McNuggets

The former will be available in six-piece and nine-piece packs costing £7.29 and £7.99, respectively.
Or, if you’re willing to share, a 20-piece box shall be available to purchase for £8.09.
The Spicy Chicken McNuggets, which first adorned McDonald’s menus in August 2019, are made with 100 percent chicken breastcoated in a ‘mouth-wateringly spicy coating, using Jalapeno chillies’ and served with a Spicy Chilli dip.
“[They] have a kick to them spice-wise and they were always so good when I got them,” one Redditor commented.
A second said: “I crave the taste of the spicy McNuggets.”
Double Big Mac

The Chicken Big Mac has recently starred on McDonald’s menus, but now it’s time for the Double Big Mac to shine.
Based on the classic, the Double Big Mac consists of four 100 percent British and Irish beef patties, a generous double helping of Big Mac sauce, crisp lettuce, melted cheese, crunchy pickles, and fresh onions between a sesame seed bun.
“It’s the ultimate indulgence for burger lovers who crave double of the iconic Big Mac taste,” McDonald’s stated back in 2024.
The supersized burger will be available for purchase from 17 March and will cost £8.59.
Double Big Mac with Bacon

If four patties don’t quite temper your protein craving, then the Double Big Mac with Bacon may just change the game for good.
This elevated version of the burger includes all the same components, but adds a slice of succulent, smoky bacon for good measure.
The variant will retail at £9.49.
McDonald’s CARDS meal

Alongside the McFlurries, Double Big Macs, and Spicy Chicken McNuggets, McDonald’s is introducing a new meal type.
From 17 March, fast-food fans can choose from selected medium or large CARDS meals to gain a pack-fresh set of cards.
At least one character card and three other cards will feature, allowing fans to win big prizes, including free food items.
