McDonald's unveils major menu shakeup including new breakfast range

McDonald’s has given its beloved breakfast menu a major makeover, introducing a slew of soon-to-be-favourites alongside exciting new main menu essentials.
It’s been quite the year already for fast-food titan, having imported the cult McGriddle over from the United States for the first time, launching an opportunity for fans to snag a hefty £10,000 cash prize, and unveiling various collaborations, including the Super Mario Happy Meal and the Friends box.
McDonald’s is set to continue pushing the dial this month by launching breakfast items doused in Frank’s RedHot Ketchup.
If you’re looking for a little bit of spice in your life, then a juicy breakfast wrap and single or double sausage and egg McMuffins should do the trick.

Frozen Cherry Lemondade is back for May, while summer-inspired Raspberry x Sprite Zero and Pineapple x Sprite Zero will also be available to purchase.
And news just in: McDonald’s is welcoming the Big Tasty back with open arms.
The succulent burger will be joined by returning icons, Mozzarella Dippers.
And don’t worry if you’re hankering for a sweet treat, as participating restaurants will have Biscoff and Galaxy Chocolate McFlurrys on offer alongside a moreish Chocolate Honeycomb Frappé.
The upcoming A-MAY-ZING menu is set to arrive on 28 April, with customers able to get their fill by hitting their local outlet or ordering via McDelivery.
The iconic McDonald’s McMuffin is getting an upgrade thanks to hot sauce pioneers, Frank’s.
The breakfast sandwich will feature a free-range fried egg, a succulent sausage patty, a slice of American cheese and a squirt of ‘sweet and tangy’ Frank’s RedHot Ketchup.
The McMuffin is available in single (£3.89) and double varieties (£5.79) and can be purchased as part of a medium meal with crispy brown browns and a drink of your choice.
A single McMuffin meal will set you back £5.79 while a double will cost £6.49.
Love them or hate them, breakfast wraps are the ultimate grab-and-go breakfast option - and McDonald’s has a brand-new one in circulation.
The new item features all your favourites: a herb-infused sausage patty, a fried egg, a crunchy hash brown, a stick of bacon, and a slice of American cheese wrapped in a soft tortilla.
A drizzle of Frank’s RedHot Ketchup is used to finish the £5.39 hero product. Upgrade yours to a medium meal for £6.49.
Go big or go home—the Big Tasty is back, baby!
The savoury delight is composed of a 100 percent beef patty, cheese made with Emmental, onions, juicy tomatoes, and smoky sauce, all sandwiched between a freshly toasted bun!
The regular is priced at £6.29, while a medium meal comes in at £7.99.
If you want more, then the Double Big Tasty comes with an extra patty and costs £7.99 on its own or £9.59 as part of a medium meal.
Thousands of us indulged in pizza-flavoured mozzarella dippers with Monica’s marinara sauce earlier this year. But now it is time for the original to return.
The cheesy sticks, coated in breadcrumbs, will be available to purchase from £2.79.
Say hello to the Biscoff and Galaxy Chocolate McFlurries. Both are available for £2.59 or in a mini version for £1.89.
The former features a Biscoff biscuit crumb swirled onto the soft serve, with McDonald’s promising an ‘extra crunchy taste’.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry is soft serve swirled with Galaxy chocolate sauce and topped with Galaxy chocolate pieces.
If caffenated beverages are more your thing, then why not try the Chocolate Honeycomb Frappé when it launches in McDonald’s UK stores on 28 April?
The iced item will be topped with cream and decadent honeycomb pieces.
The frozen, tangy Cherry Lemonade is back at McDonald’s for another round this spring.
A medium-sized sweet iced beverage, which debuted last May, will be available to purchase for £3.09.
It’s going to be spectacular when McDonald’s officially introduces its brand-new mixology offerings.
First up is the Raspberry x Sprite Zero, a refreshing mix of fizzy beverage and sugar-free raspberry-flavoured syrup.
The Pineapple varient is the same, but with the raspberry-flavoured syrup swapped for a tropical-inspired pineapple.
Each drink is served over ice and will cost £2.29.
