The second McDonald’s World Heist Menu drop has arrived with delights from Germany, China, Spain, and Singapore—but the new favourites are forcing out tried-and-tested heroes.
If you’re heading to your local McDonald’s for the first time in a long time this week, you may be surprised to see four new additions to the main menu.
These items are part of the brand's now-beloved World Heist Menu: popular items ‘stolen’ from the country of origin.
Last season, we had items like the Chocolate Pretzel McFlurry from Malaysia, Sakura x Sprite from Japan, and Australia’s own Pineapple McSpicy.

Earlier this year, the fast-food eatery brought the campaign back—and the company has just added four more limited-time menu items.
From 20 October, fans can get their hands on the McExtreme burger, ‘heisted’ from Spain.

The glorious burger features two 100 percent British & Irish beef patties layered with crispy bacon and onions, cheese slices and a creamy baconnaise sauce, served between a toasted glazed bun topped with sesame seeds.
The McExtreme is joined by China-heisted Chicken McWings: succulent chicken wings toasted in a sweet and savoury Asian-inspired sauce with a mild Szechuan pepper heat, and the Twix White Salted Caramel McFlurry.
Stolen from Germany, the tantalising McFlurry sees soft serve swirled with a Twix White salted caramel mix and topped with salted caramel sauce.
Finally, McDonald’s has pilfered the refreshing Peach x Sprite Zero drink from Singapore and brought it over to the United Kingdom.
Beverage lovers are likely to fall in love with the drink, featuring a peach-flavoured syrup served over ice.

McDonald’s menu items axed
Sadly, the new additions mean that something has to give—and it’s curtains for the German Big Rosti, the Guava x Sprite from India, and the Canadian Maple & Cheddar McCrispy, three favourites from the first World Heist Menu drop.
However, it’s good news for fans of the Paprika McShaker Fries (Netherlands), the Mac and Cheese Bites (UAE) and the Szechuan Dip (China), as all three are sticking around for a while yet.
Joining them are the Chicken and Bacon McMuffin (Australia), the Chicken and Egg McMuffin (Singapore), and the S’mores McFlurry (Canada).
McDonald’s trials hand-breaded chicken
Various sites in Dublin are taking part in a McDonald’s hand-breaded chicken pilot, as reported by Metro.
Customers shall be able to pick up the iconic Snack Wrap, Tikka, Sweet Chilli, and BBQ wraps, salads, McCrispy strips, and McCrispy burger in hand-breaded versions between mid-October and February, the publication said.

The test is a ‘tangible demonstration of food prepared with care’ resulting in ‘crunch, texture, and juiciness’, according to a company statement.
McDonald’s apparently sees chicken as a ‘significant growth opportunity’ for the business, having added a selection of McCrispy’s as permanent menu items earlier this year.
“This is about much more than introducing a new way of preparing chicken,” said Tim Kenward, McDonald’s UK and Ireland’s chief marketing officer.
“We’re piloting how our restaurants can consistently deliver the taste, quality and visible care that customers increasingly expect, without adding unnecessary complexity for our teams.”
