A Stateside breakfast staple fans are ‘addicted’ to is finally heading to British and Irish McDonald’s menus for the first time this month.
One of the best things about being a McDonald’s fan is having the chance to sample unique and innovative creations from across the world.
In Japan, exclusives include the new Hatsune Miku meal, featuring the seasonal Teritama Burger and Shaka Shaka Potato fries; Singaporeans can bag a Scrambled Egg Burger and a piping mug of Hot MILO, and Swedish travellers can crunch down on the McCrispy Creen Chilli and a Siriacha Chicken Salad Bowl.
The US also has a unique range of items, including the Big Arch burger, Frozen Fanta and Coca-Cola drinks, and burritos made with pork sausage, melty cheese, and fluffy scrambled egg.

Excitingly, another US breakfast favourite is finally coming to the UK this month - and fans have been gushing about the first time they tried it on Reddit.
“I had them when I went to New York in August, to the first time, and loved them! They’re so different and cool,” one Redditor said.
A second commented: “Had them when I went to Japan, as they are a staple there on the breakfast menu, they were great. I’m a bit hesitant to try them when they come over to the UK, doubt it will taste as good.”
Someone else reported: “I'm addicted to them, the first one I wasn't sure about, so I tried it again. Fell in love. It is a messy eat but the savoury sweet taste is so good.”
If you’re someone who has been chomping at the bit to try a McDonald’s McGriddle for yourself, then good news: you can head down to a participating eatery before 11am on 17 March to be one of the first to score.

UK McGriddles will sandwich a sausage patty, a fried egg and a slice of American cheese between two maple-flavoured griddle cakes.
If you were wondering, a griddle cake is similar to a pancake. However, it is usually thicker and has granulated maple syrup crystals baked into it.
Around for a good time, not a long time; McDonald’s hasn’t revealed how long you will have to get your chops around a McGriddle.
The company even warned, ‘once it’s gone, it’s gone’. So its probably a good idea to organise a taste test sooner, rather than later.
McDonald’s Easter menu 2026: new and returning
If a fast-food breakfast isn’t your kind of thing, there will be supersized burgers and a tasty snack returning on 17 March, too.
To celebrate Easter, McDonald’s has announced the return of the Double Big Mac and it’s smoky sister, the Double Big Mac with Bacon.
Spicy Chicken McNuggets are also making a comeback and will be available in six, nine, and 20-piece sharing boxes.

Those with a sweet tooth can become reacquainted with the Creme Egg McFlurry or try out the brand-new Cadbury Mini Eggs McFlurry.
The latter consists of soft dairy ice cream swirled with crushed Mini Eggs and is topped with Cadbury Chocolatey Sauce.
A chocolate-based frappe topped with cream and a dusting of Cadbury Mini Eggs is also available for anyone who has the McDonald’s App.
You can collect the limited-edition Easter drink from 17 March via the app, or wait until 24 March to order it in-store.
