It’s not a drill: viral Bearista cold cups are set to make a grand return to Starbucks US in time for Christmas, with a fun twist. Here’s everything you need to know about getting your mitts on cute, coveted collectables this winter.
You may already be aware, but adorable teddy-shaped beakers have dominated conversations this year, with customers lining up to pick up limited-edition World Cup, Wimbledon, and Snoopy variants over the last few months.
After repeated sell-outs and fans setting their alarms to queue outside their local coffeehouse well before opening hours, Starbucks has announced that the branded bear is back.
The brand has revealed that a ‘surprise collection’ of Bearista glass cold cup characters will debut in US stores from 10 November.

Blind boxes containing ‘mystery glass cold cups’ will be available in limited quantities, while supplies last, according to an official press release.
Those who don’t fancy their chances with the exclusive drop can wait until 1 December for the original viral sensation to re-launch in select shops.
Fans and critics alike have been debating the imminent return of the Bearista cups, with one X user typing: “A year ago, this Bearista cup made people act up and out. A year later, this Snoopy cup did the same thing.
They’re definitely cute cups, but not worth losing sleep over. If this keeps up someone will probably lose more than sleep.”
Another said: “That Starbucks barista cup is insanely cute but not for $30, I must find a way to hate it for the sake of my wallet more than I love it for the sake of my heart.”
“I will camp since Halloween,” remarked a third. Another said: “They need to limit it to ONE per customer.”

A fifth added: “Let’s go get in line!!!!”
