McDonald’s UK is finally celebrating the 30th anniversary of the beloved US sitcom, Friends, with a special 'adult Hapy Meal' with collectable figures, limited-run meal items and unique packaging options.
After successfully launching in Australia and other European countries such as Spain and Germany, The Friends Meal has now officially landed in Britain.
Available to purchase from today (3 February), the Warner Bros. combo consists of a McDonald’s Big Mac, McPlant, or nine-piece Chicken Nuggets, a portion of fries, and a drink, with prices starting from £9.09.
Some of the items come in packaging inspired by the show, with cartons featuring subtle nods to New York City and the series’ iconic orange sofa available to pick up.

What's more, there are new Pizza Mozzarella Dippers with ‘Monica Marinara’ sauce to spend your Rewards points on, and six dinky figures inspired by the core Friends cast to collect.

These include: Monica dressed in her chef whites, Phoebe playing a guitar, and Ross with his monkey, Marcel.
Small statues of Joey holding a duck, Chandler with a chick, and Rachel serving up coffee are available to get in The Friends Meal for a limited time, too.
Naturally, die-hard fans of the comedy show will want to collect all six of the Friends figures.

But it’s bad news for anyone hoping to individually purchase the miniatures.
In the past, McDonald’s has allowed customers to buy single Happy Meal toys so that they may complete collections.
However, that will not be the case for the Friends Meal, the fast-food establishment has confirmed.
In a statement to Metro, McDonald’s said that anyone who wants to collect Joey, Ross, and Phoebe et al. can only do so by dipping into their purchase.
Moreover, it’s understood that the restaurant will not be encouraging customers to ask staff to give them a specific character, as stock levels at each restaurant will vary.

As well as the Friends Meal launching, McDonald’s has added a host of new sweet and savoury selections to its menu, including the ‘best burger ever’.
Fans can get their hands on the Tikka Chicken Wrap, which will feature as Wrap of the Day on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as well as the returning Philly Cheese Stack.
Two McFlurries have debuted, too. These are the Milkybar Crispy Cookie and Munchies Vanilla Cheesecake.
These launch alongside the moreish Brownie Pie and the Doughnut Crumble Latte.
The latter blends smooth coffee with doughnut‑flavour syrup. It’s finished with a swirl of cream and sprinkle of doughnut crumb
