Cheryl fans can score priceless memorabilia as the icon partners with Tesco and Deliveroo, reminding shoppers they don’t have to nip to the shops in their pyjamas anymore.
The year is 2009: Taylor Swift’s MTV Video Music Awards speech was interrupted by Kanye West; MasterChef Australia launched on Network 10; Meryl Streep and Amy Adams starred in Julie & Julia, written and directed by Nora Ephron; and Cheryl Tweedy went viral for her frank confession about success.
“Slowly but surely, you start to realise, ‘actually, I can’t nip to the garage in my pyjamas anymore for a pint of milk, even if I want to’,” she famously uttered.
17 years later, Cheryl is starring in a new advert for Tesco being available on Deliveroo, and her iconic ‘pint of milk’ meme is being recreated and repurposed for a new audience.

“The Deliveroo collaboration came about because I was asked in an interview if I could nip to the garage in my pyjamas, and my reply was 'slowly but surely you start to realise that you can’t anymore', you know, with all the paps,” she confessed in an interview with LADbible.
“So the Deliveroo people loved it, and it goes so well with the fact that Deliveroo now has Tesco on it. So you can get the order of a pint of milk delivered immediately.
“I actually just leaned right into it. I think it's really funny to be able to play with that."
Cheryl is the face of Tesco’s Deliveroo launch, reminding shoppers that they can order groceries from the comfort of their own home—they don’t even have to get out of their comfies, if they don’t fancy.

"Even if you’re just running out the door you can ask for it to be left on your doorstep. It’s having the sort of supermarket that people use on an app which is convenient for busy mums, and parents and everyone who lives busy lives, she informed the publication.
To coincide with the release, the mother-of-one has also launched the Cheryl-Skimmed bundle.
The coveted cache features silky PJs and a ceramic milk jug signed by the 43-year-old herself. Shoppers can get their hands on it by placing an order on the app from 28 to 30 October.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Girls Aloud legend detailed exactly what she’d be ordering from Deliveroo if Tesco wasn’t in the picture.
“I'm going to get a Chinese takeaway,” she said. “And you know what I do, quite often, I think, let me look again through the menu again for what I can choose, and then I always get the same thing anyway,” she added.
