Not content with winning Super Bowls and getting engaged to Taylor Swift, serial achiever Travis Kelce is set to open a steakhouse in Kansas City alongside Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes.
1587 Prime Steakhouse will open its doors on 17 September 2025, with the NFL stars having partnered with hospitality company Noble 33 founders Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha to develop a contemporary steakhouse in the heart of the city.
Along with truckloads of high-quality meat, Kelce, 35, and Mahomes, 29, have promised an immersive dining experience with high-end flavours and an affordable menu.
Mahomes also said there were 'obviously' plenty of Taylor Swift Easter eggs for fans to enjoy, telling The Drive radio show of 'The Alchemy' cocktail: “I’m not a big liquor drinker myself but, from everyone else, I’ve heard it’s a really good drink and obviously [we] wanted to have an ode to Taylor and how important she is, not only to us but this city as well."
He added: "I think people will be super excited to get it and it has the theatrics that I think people will love. I’m sure it is something that will be ordered a ton and be a best seller at 1587.”

The restaurant is decked out with plenty of detail paying homage to the football stars’ day job, with a huge entrance and tunnel designed to emulate walking out onto an NFL football field.
Refrigerated displays will house some of the prime, dry-aged meats that will be served up to hungry Kansans and, no doubt, the countless fans who’ll make the trip across the country to dine at 1587 Prime.

“With 1587 Prime, we didn’t just set out to create another steakhouse. We worked with Patrick and Travis to capture the essence of Kansas City — its pride, its hospitality, and its passion for great food — while staying true to Noble 33’s brand vision and design aesthetic,” said Berman in a press statement.
The menu, curated by executive chef Ryan Arnold, will feature a wide range of beef cuts, including Japanese A5 NY Strip, Boneless Ribeye, and 40oz Wagyu Tomahawk steaks.
Those meats will be garnished with various butters and sauces, and guests can order crab, none marrow, lobster tail and blue cheese toppings too.
Elsewhere on the menu you’ll find truffle aioli, crisped capers, toasted sourdough, wagyu, and the tantalising 1587 Twice Baked Potato; smoked gouda, creme fraîche, chives, black truffle and beef bacon. Even the beef-averse might find themselves salivating over that one.

The ground floor is set to host live music every night on a grand stage, and there’s a well-stocked bar led by Jua Carlos Santana, the beverage director at Noble 33.
All that beef could be washed down with the likes of Casamigos blanco, 400 Conejos, Pierre Ferrand dry curacao, absinthe, and a beverage known as ‘the Showtime’ featuring an aged rum blend, toasted coconut, coffee, lime soda and Coor Light Syrup.
An ornate staircase leads up to the second floor where a semi-private dining area will cater to over 40 guests at once, and there’s a separate private dining section with a secret VIP entrance for 20.

“The most rewarding aspect of expanding the Noble 33 brand is the chance to connect with new communities in different cities,” Tanha said in a statement.
“Whether London or Miami, we’re always humbled by how our restaurants are received. Kansas City has been one of the warmest welcomes to date and we look forward to being part of such a vibrant community.”
