It’s fair to say that powerhouse popstar Dua Lipa knows a thing or two about maintaining a balanced diet, scaling back when it comes to fuelling on-stage performances, and creating viral trends with iconic beverages.
The Argylle actress, who celebrated her 31st birthday on Saturday (22 August), takes a whole foods approach to eating, opting for vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins such as chicken over processed, grab-and-go items.
According to Health Yogi, she’s likely to start her day with eggs, while a pre-workout snack will probably be cashew butter and a banana.
For larger meals, Dua may choose chicken salad and cold juices, or fresh veggies with fish, a good source of omega-3s.

Salmon bowls, built with brown rice and spicy mayo, pickled veg, cucumbers, teriyaki, and black sesame, are also one of her dinner time staples.

However, it’s unlikely that you will ever see her eating these meals after 6pm; she alleges early eating times ‘really help’ clear her skin.
“When I eat really late, my body does not really work through, and it takes too long to process food, and it does not prepare anything else in my body,” she claimed.
The ‘Training Season’ hitmaker always makes room for something sweet.
She once admitted on her former podcast, Dua Lipa: At Your Service: "I’m never one to stop myself from having treats — I do love naughty treats — but I try and limit it to days when I’m not as busy because if I do eat a doughnut, it usually puts me in a food coma.”
What Dua Lipa eats on tour

While her day-to-day remains relatively strict, the former Glastonbury headliner has admitted that she kicks it up a knotch when it comes to touring.
During a stint on the Dish podcast with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett last year, Dua said that her diet ‘isn’t as fun’ when she’s on the road as she has to avoid hot sauce in case it causes acid reflux.
Alcohol is also off the cards, with most of her meals consisting of meat, such as steak, and fresh vegetables.
“I want the pasta. It’s the little things,” she claimed.
Holidays are a foodie paradise
When she’s not on stage, the three-time Grammy winner can often be found soaking up the sun and exploring cities such as Copenhagen with her husband, actor Callum Turner.

“I think about the trip and then I think about the food, and I start putting it in the diary so I can book places to eat food, and my whole day revolves around food and then whatever else in between,” she claimed, as per The Sun.
The businesswoman recently shared snaps from trips to Italy and New York on Instagram featuring fishy pasta dishes, baked goods, and sweet breakfasts with lashings of maple syrup.
Dua Lipa’s viral coke recipe
Remember earlier this year when KFC brought out its Pickle Coca-Cola? Well, Dua actually did it first.
In 2024, the ‘Houdini’ star uploaded a TikTok video in which she emptied a can of Diet Coke into an iced glass.
After topping the beverage with a glug of pickle juice, she added a couple of pickles before it was finished off with jalapeño sauce.
'Everyone's staring at me', she remarked with a bemused smile. “I'm going to go for a couple of jalapeños.”

The viral video divided the masses at the time, with Claussen, the beloved refrigerated pickle brand, even getting in on the action.
“Hey Dua Lipa, we hear you. One sip is all it takes,” the company said, sharing a mock-up canned pickle juice.
“Do we dare? 10k likes and we just might make Claussen Dill Pickle Juice a thing.”
In early 2025, the brand made good on its promise and released a limited-edition bottle of ‘Just The Brine’, described by Kraft Heinz as the perfect way to add a tangy kick to any beverage.
In a statement at the time, Ryan Watson, Diet Coke Brand Director said: “We love to see all the ways in which our consumers enjoy their Diet Coke.
“The creativity Diet Coke drinkers are sharing with the world is humbling and we look forward to continuing to be inspired and energized by the things that are inspiring and energizing our consumers.”
