Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has lifted the lid on the one food her husband, Sir David Beckham, attempts to avoid at all costs—and it’s a classic Sunday roast addition.
The pair, who wed back in 1994,, apparently like to sit down for dinner together every night with their son Romeo Cruz and daughter Harper at around 6.30pm.
“We're very traditional, actually, as a family,” Victoria, 52, told The Times, adding that there was no need to ban phones at the table as they are all too busy talking.
When it comes to dinner parties, Victoria is not at the helm, preferring to work on the menu with David, 51, with the latter taking charge of the wine.

The one food David Beckham avoids
And regardless of the weather, the family is always chowing down on a tradtional roast come Sundays.
The former Manchester United icon is apparently ‘particularly commited’ to a roast with all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, and lots of vegetables’.
However, one thing you’re extremely unlikely to find on David’s plate is parsnips.
“No parsnips — it’s one of the only foods my husband does not like and will not eat,” the Spice Girl claimed, revealing that her spouse also has a preference for Bisto gravy.
"It has to be Bisto, extra thick,” the mother-of-four proclaimed.
“She’ll very rarely deviate away from there”
This is not the first time that the Beckham’s dietary choices have been aired, with the ex-Real Madrid player previously revealing that his wife had eaten the ‘same thing for the last 25 years’.

In a 2022 interview on River Cafe Table 4, the podcast hosted by restaurateur Ruth Rogers, David revealed that since he’d met Victoria, she only enjoyed eating grilled fish and steamed vegetables for dinner.
“She’ll very rarely deviate away from there,” he confessed.
In an interview with Vogue Australia, reported by Insider, the icon was asked about her reported food preferences.
“Talk about making me sound boring! What he meant is that he’s never met anyone who’s more disciplined with the way that they eat.”
Victoria continued, claiming: “I’m quite extreme in anything I do, whether it’s eating or working out or drinking or not drinking.”
Victoria Beckham eats same thing for breakfast every day
As well as fish and veg, the star loves chowing down on healthy fat sources including nuts and avocado, the latter of which she enjoys on toast.
VB’s bread of choice is Organic Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Wholegrain Bread.

Speaking about her obsession with avocado on toast, Charlotte Faure Green, a registered nutritionist, informed Hello! Magazine that while the breakfast staple was ‘nutritionally solid’, it could leave her feeling ‘peckish’.
“Avocado delivers monounsaturated fats, fibre, potassium, folate and vitamins E and K, while the olive oil adds anti-inflammatory compounds alongside more healthy fats,” she stated.
"Sprouted grain bread is worth choosing over standard options because the sprouting process breaks down phytic acid, an antinutrient that would otherwise limit how well the body absorbs minerals like zinc, iron and magnesium.
“It also tends to produce a gentler blood sugar response than regular bread, even wholemeal, because sprouting partially breaks down the starch before it ever reaches your digestive system."
She added that she would either add eggs, smoked salmon, or pumpkin seeds with lemon juice to bulk it out a little bit
