Brooklyn Beckham defenders have come out in full force, backing up the star and claiming they ‘feel sorry’ for him after a serious blunder he made in an interview was unearthed.
At this point, it feels as if the 26-year-old has done it all: photography stints, working in a West London coffee shop, modelling for Superdry, and working with Formula E.
In 2021, the eldest son of former Manchester United legend David Beckham, 50, and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, 51, announced his entry to the world of food, later launching his own show on Instagram and Facebook, Cookin’ With Brooklyn.
The show followed the self-confessed nepo baby as he learned foundational cooking skills and prepared dishes with guidance from nutritional experts.

While the programme was short-lived, Beckham has continued his foray into food, regularly uploading clips to social media of him creating everything from buttermilk pancakes to homemade pizza.

Despite his clear fascination with the culinary world, a 2022 interview showed that the Beverly Hills-based personality wasn’t quite up to scratch with everything food-related.
The infamous video, which has since resurfaced on Tatler Magazine’s Instagram page, saw Beckham’s wife, actress Nicola Peltz, 30, asking him to name three British Michelin-starred chefs.

After getting off to a flying start by naming Kitchen Nightmares icon Gordon Ramsay, 58, he listed Core Chef Patron Clare Smyth, 47, as his second pick.
Unfortunately, Beckham admitted that the two were the ‘only’ British Michelin-starred cooks that he was aware of at the time.

“If I say one do I get a point?,” chimed in Peltz. “Tom Brown.”

Despite the couple - who have been married since April 2022 - working together to answer the question, Beckham’s blunder caused him to be skewered by critics in the comments.
One wrote: “I thought he was supposed to be a foodie?”
A second lamented: “I don’t like to hate on Brooklyn because he’s trying his best but as a chef he should know more than 2…”
“How on earth can you only name two when your passion is food?,” remarked someone else.

Many others have flocked to the clip to defend the entrepreneur, whose Cloud 23 hot sauce range is exclusively available in Whole Foods shops across the country.
“The comments on here.. leave the boy alone. Most of it is jealousy because he has rich parents.. we play the hand we are dealt with. Focus on yourselves,” one Instagram user retorted.
Another commented: “I feel sorry for Brooklyn. He’s obviously a bit dim and he’s getting kicked about all over the place.”

“Looked after him in a flight to LA, lovely lovely guy, very friendly and polite and could not wish to meet a nicer person,” said a third.
Last month, it was reported that Beckham was set to launch a burger restaurant in the US as part of his larger company, Buster Sauce Inc.
The fast food venue will see Beckham’s premium and organic hot sauces served on luxury patties, according to The Drinks Business.
He also serves as the cofounder of the canned Japanese sake brand WeSake.
At the time of his investment, he said: “Sake deserves attention—there’s a gap in the road. Everyone’s tried it, but most don’t know the history behind it.”
