Brooklyn Beckham made a sad admission about 'keeping his head down' amidst online backlash, after he launched his cooking show during the pandemic.

'Nepo babies' can typically always expect a little bit of stick online for whatever endeavours they choose to explore.

In Brooklyn Beckham's case, who could have really tried his hand at anything given his parent's success, he chose to go for cooking.

His online cooking show was born in lockdown, where his wife Nicola Peltz would film him making their evening meal and post it on social media.

But the 26-year-old recently revealed that he's always been 'a massive foodie'.

Speaking to Food52, he said: "I actually learned how to cook my first dish with my nanny, Peggy.

"I hold her very close to my heart, and it just reminds me of her every time I cook."

But since beginning his cooking show, Beckham has faced backlash from people on social media.

While the classic 'nepo baby' comment is thrown about, others suggest they could make his dishes with their 'eyes closed'.

Despite the hate, the star continues to do what he loves.

He added: "There’s always going to be people that say not nice things.

"But I love cooking. It makes me happy. So I just put my head down and I make amazing dishes for people."

He and Peltz share four rescue dogs, and Beckham admitted that one of the couple's favourite things to do is to have a night in with their furry friends.

"Honestly, our favourite thing is to stay at home with our four dogs, cook, have a glass of wine, and watch a show," he noted.

The cook noted that his wife plays the role of 'sous chef' when they're in the kitchen, and helps with timing pasta and other, smaller responsibilities.

Since the cooking show was launched during the pandemic, Beckham has been able to release his own brand of spicy organic hot sauce - Cloud23.

He recently showcased how fans can recreate the viral vodka sauce for pasta, using his hot sauce.

But even his grandmother Jackie Adams, mum of Victoria Beckham, criticised his cooking online.

Underneath his video, she commented: "Even I could make that, Brooklyn!"

"Oh you’re a chef again now," another user said.

While others were more complimentary, and noted that the dish looked 'delicious'.
