McDonald’s is offering loyal app users the chance to win a limited-edition ‘Master Ring' that can unlock a year's supply of freebies, FOODbible can exclusively reveal.
Here’s everything you need to know regarding the secret selection process...
The McDonald’s UK app, launched more than a decade ago, is the ultimate one-stop shop for grab-and-go fans; customers can browse menus, order their favourite items, and save some wonga with its recently revamped points system.
Always flicking through and purchasing products, such as the new permanent McCrispy duo, Vanilla Matcha Frappé, or tried-and-tested favourites like the Big Arch or a Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin?

Well, you and a handful of others could be set to be rewarded by the fast-food titan this summer.
And it's being dubbed one of McDonald’s ‘most exclusive reward’ ever.

Soon, a lucky few McDonald’s App users will have the chance to apply for a money-can’t buy piece of jewellery, stamped with the iconic McDonald’s golden arches.
The gold-plated, stainless steel signet ring, hailed as the ‘McDonald’s App Master Ring’ is engineered as the ultimate badge of honour for loyal fans of the brand.
Everyone who wangles themselves an App Master Ring can use it to grab a year's worth of free fries - that’s 52 portions in total.
Unfortunately, there are only a select few items being gifted, and those who consistently snap up offers and redeem rewards via the McDonald’s App in Britain and the Republic of Ireland are being prioritised.
If you’re foaming at the bit then we have some bad news for you: eligible ‘App Masters’ have already been cherry-picked by McDonald’s staff.
The lucky sods are set to receive an exclusive invitation email to claim their ring from 12pm on Friday 5 June.

According to a press release, the email will contain a unique access code and a private link, where customers can enter their address details and their preferred ring size (small, medium, or large).
Once your status as the ultimate ring general is confirmed, the free medium fries coupon should appear directly in your MyMcDonald’s Rewards account.
If you don’t get picked, then you may want to download and start using the McDonald’s App to be ahead of the pack next time.
You can use the application to earn points that can be converted into prizes, jump the queue with Order Ahead, and schedule a McDelivery from just 99-.
News of the McDonald’s App Master Ring comes ahead of the FIFA World Cup Meal launch, featuring collectable cups adorned with some of the world’s most-famous footballers.
There will be six beakers to collect in the UK, featuring depictions of England legend Sir David Beckham, South Korea’s Son Heung-min, Spanish prodigy Lamine Yamal, and other sports icons.

You must order one of the FIFA World Cup Meals and choose between a Big Mac or a punnet of Chicken McNuggets to nab yours.
Simultaneously, football-inspired Squishmallows are heading to Happy Meals, with more than 20 cute toys made of recycled materials available to collect.
Speaking about the global FIFA and Squishmallows collaborations, Global chief marketing officer and head of new business ventures at McDonald’s, Morgan Flatley, said: “At McDonald’s, magic happens when friends and fans come together and celebrate with the people they love.

“Partnering with the FIFA World Cup 26 allows us to take that shared joy and bring it to life at a global scale through our food, our experience, and the ways fans connect with the game.
“As football icons take the field to unite fans across continents, McDonald’s will be there with limited-time meals and keepsakes so fans can be part of the excitement all tournament long and beyond.”
A limited-edition feast of items is heading to McDonald’s just in time for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which kicks off on 11 June.
These include soon-to-be savoury favourites, like the Mexican Chipotle Burger, the return of the Sweet Carolina BBQ Stack and Crunchy Cheese Bites, alongside Galaxy Chocolate and Salted Caramel McFlurries.
