KFC has gone pretty left-field with its latest burger creation, and frankly we are here for it – even if it does raise a few eyebrows among purists.
For the fried chicken chain’s latest move, it’s taken inspiration from the tandoor for a ‘taste adventure inspired by the best street food’.
The brand new Crispy Naan range is packed full with ‘tandoori-inspired flavours and fresh ingredients’, with a unique twist that sees the traditional burger bun replaced by two fluffy naans.
You can choose between the spicy Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan or the cooler Creamy Original Crispy Naan, which features a tangy yoghurt and shallot sauce.

And if you’ve got space for more, you can also order a few sides, with the Tandoori Loaded Fries and Tandoori Dipping Feast completing the package.
The catch is that it’s not around forever, sadly, as it’s available now nationwide and across all delivery channels, but only until 23 August.
Of course, many burger fans might feel reluctant to give up their go-to seeded or brioche buns, but it seems like the early reviews are promising.

After FOODbible’s sister brand LADbible posted about the new creation on Instagram, some people said they’d already been to try it out for themselves.
“This was sooooo good,” one commented.
Another wrote: “Just had it 5hrs ago was banging.”
Someone else said they’d tried it in France when they were in Paris in February, adding: “It was elite tbf surprised they didn’t do this in England first.”
Others were excited to give it a go, with one KFC fan typing: “Now I need to try this.”
Another echoed: “That actually sounds phenomenal.”

KFC hasn't been afraid to take its menu into weird and wonderful territories this year, having launched the limited Pickle Mania menu back in March.
Including a Pickle Burger, Pickle Loaded Fries, frickles and a Pickle Pepsi Max, the line of items became an instant viral sensation, with pickle lovers saying the chain had outdone itself.
One reaction on TikTok was particularly enthusiastic, with drag performer Danny Beard diving into the whole menu after admitting: “Now I am a pickle lover, so this speaks to my soul.”
While trying the Pickle Pepsi Max, they gave an instant thumbs-up, saying: “That's banging.”
One Instagrammer also gave the Pickle Loaded Fries a taste test, gushing: “KFC, you've outdone yourselves with that.” The creator added: “Oh my God, no, they are so good.” Ultimately, they rated the fries ‘11 out of 10’, before begging: “Please sell bags of pickle crisps”.
