It’s crunch time as England looks to advance to the finals of the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026. But to get there, they first have to conquer reigning champions Argentina, led by the legendary Lionel Messi.
If you weren’t lucky enough to bag a ticket to the Atlanta semi-final and aren’t following in tourists’ footsteps by heading to Buc-ee’s and picking up ranch before journying to the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, then don’t worry, as there are actually a ton of England-based restaurants, supermarkets, and fast-food chains with delicious deals on offer.
The ever-evolving list includes free drinks from the likes of Asda and Morrisons, a dedicated World Cup burger list from Bill’s, and how to get 40 percent off your bill at a popular Italian company.
Yo! Sushi

Fuel up before the game with Yo! Sushi’s exclusive ‘It’s Game Time menu’, featuring: a chicken katsu sandwich (£9.95) in collaboration with All Saints’ Melanie Blatt, along with poutine fries (£9.95), salmon ceviche (£8.50), a pulled chicken and cream cheese roll (£5.50), and a Mississippi mud cake (£5.50).
Advert
If you want to indulge at home, then there’s a designated It’s Game Time kiosk line-up available in Tesco stores across the country.
Featured items such as cheeseburger sushi rolls (£6.96), chimichurri chicken rolls (£5.45), and fiery buffalo bites (£6.75) are available to pick up.
Bill’s

Bill’s isn’t just for bottomless pancakes—it’s for limited-edition World Cup burgers, too.
Until 19 July (AKA the World Cup final), the chain is offering Moroccan hot honey harissa chicken, French beef bourguignon, Mexican nacho, and Korean fried chicken burgers, all £18.50.
England supporters can also pick up a bold ‘Full English’ burger from Bill’s, featuring: sausage patties, cheese, smoked streaky bacon, hash brown, black pudding, fried egg, and brown sauce.
McDonald’s

There are only days left to get your hands on collectable beakers featuring men’s football stars and sports-themed Squishmallows from McDonald’s.
The fast-food titan’s FIFA World Cup and Happy Meal promotion is still going strong, featuring cups with Sir David Beckham, Thierry Henry, and Team USA’s Christian Pulisic.
Aldi removes Argentinian wine
Not quite a deal, but it’s instead potentially bad news for wine drinkers; in ‘solidarity’ with England, one UK-based Aldi store has removed its Argentinian Malbec wine from shelves, according to the company’s official Instagram account.
“If this doesn’t help us win, we don’t know what will,” the supermarket chain added.
Burger King

Earlier this summer, Burger King launched smaller, snackable versions of its Whopper, Big King, and BBQ Steakhouse - and they’re still available to pick up ahead of England’s semi-final match against Argentina.
The sliders, known as ‘Burger Buddies’, are available to purchase nationwide in packs of three or nine.
Greggs

Greggs, the beloved UK bakery, is offering a range of World Cup-themed foodie bundles, available until 20 July.
- Small Bake Bundle, £14 - four bakes, two boxes of southern-fried potato wedges, and a warm box of something sweet
- Medium Bake Bundle, £16 - six bakes, two boxes of southern-fried potato wedges, and a warm box of something sweet
- Match Day Bake Deal, £12 - six bakes, two cold Coca-Cola drinks
There is also a handful of Just Eat-exclusive bundles:
- Match Day Duo Bake Deal, £8 - two breakfast rolls filled with bacon, sausage, or omelette and two Sausage Rolls. Breakfast rolls can be single, or double-protein for the same price
- Match Day Quad Bake Deal, £15 - four breakfast rolls filled with bacon, sausage, or omelette and four Sausage Rolls. Breakfast rolls can be single, or double-protein for the same price
- Free Hash Browns - free hash brown pack on orders over £15 on days following home nation matches.
The latter freebie will be available on 16 July, following England’s semi-final match.
If the Three Lions make the final, then you can grab the free hash browns on 20 July. If not, then they will be available on 19 July, following the 3rd place play-off game against France.
Krispy Kreme

They’re coming home (to share): Krispy Kreme’s England edition dozen are still available to purchase.
Flavours included in the 12-pack are: Come on England (filled with strawberry and Kreme), Pitch Perfect (brownie batter filing topped with green and white icing) and Strike It Sweet (an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and finished with a flourish of sprinkles).
Original Glazed, Strawberry Sprinkles, Triple Choc Indulgence, Cookies & Kreme and Biscoff also feature.
Co-op

Members of supermarket chain the Co-op can pick up a World Cup-adjacent comfort food pack.
Head into your local store and pick up two pizzas and a four-pack of drinks for just £5.
Lego

It’s not food (sorry), but we have to mention that the Lego FIFA World Cup Official Trophy is currently on sale via Amazon for £110.49 (RRP £159.99).
The trophy also features a hidden mini football scene and a competition-inspired minifigure.
Other football-related items available via the Lego site include:
- Lego football (£99.99)
- Football Legend: Lionel Messi (£69.99)
- Kylian Mbappé - Football Highlights (£24.99)
- FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Emblem (£19.99)
Asda

Until the day after the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026, Asda is giving away free hot drinks at its café to anybody called Caroline.
Apparently, the deal is designed to give ‘Carolines a well-earned break’ from the iconic football song, ‘Sweet Caroline’.
Prezzo

Did you know that Italian restraunt chain Prezo is offering 40 percent off food, with the purchase of a drink, every England match day?
The offer can be cashed in from 12pm today (15 July) and is available to a maximum of 12 people per bill.
However, there is a long list of sites where the offer is not valid, including: Prezzo Italian Euston, Kensington, Victoria, Glasshouse Street, St Martin’s Lane and Northumberland Avenue.
Beware that it can’t be used during major regional or local events at: Prezzo Italian Cardiff, Bath, Milton Keynes, Cheltenham, Manchester Media City, York Clifford Street or Leeds The Light.
Morrisons

Not only are a handful of Morrisons stores staying open later on England matchdays for last-minute Deliveroo orders, but punters can pick up free drinks at one of the supermarket’s cafés.
To make good on the deal, you just have to head into your local wearing a national football shirt, as per Jasmine Birtles’ Money Magpie.
If England win the World Cup, do we get a bank holiday?
Now that the Three Lions have made it to the semi-finals of the World Cup, thoughts have turned to the possibility that football really could be coming home - and what better way to celebrate England’s success than a day off work?
Outgoing Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer previously hinted at the prospect of a bank holiday if Thomas Tuchel’s side win the tournament.
“On the question of a bank holiday, I think I don't want to jinx it, but ask me again if we get to the final,” he told reporters at a Nato conference on 8 July.
With the final taking place on Sunday (19 July), it’s believed that the celebratory bank holiday would likely fall on the following Friday (24 July).
Only time will tell!
