Another season is rolling in, and with it comes a fresh roster of deliciousness at McDonald’s.
Following this year’s successful introduction of the Chicken Katsu Wrap, the BBQ Ranch Wrap, and the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, Ronald and co are on a roll with the 2025 menu additions.
Perhaps most excitingly, there's a new Breakfast Saver Menu, where hungry Maccies fans can get their mitts on a quick breakfast for just a couple of quid - but let's take a look at all the glorious new additions.

1. New drinks
The brand-new Frozen Cherry Lemonade hits your local Maccies on May 7th for £2.99, packed with flavour and chilliness to stave off the sweats and get some much-needed sugar in your system for a kickabout at the park.
Elsewhere, the Biscoff Frappe is making a return to menus at £3.09, with a vanilla base, Biscoff biscuit crumbs, and blended ice for a tasty, chilly dessert drink. It’s topped off with caramel-flavoured cream, too.
It’s not exactly a drink – unless you leave it out in the sun for too long – but the Biscoff Frappe is joined by a Biscoff McFlurry packed with titular biscuit crumb blended with soft serve for a crunchy and moreish concoction.
2. Burgers, burgers, burgers
Besides the humble McNugget, what could be more McDonald’s than a burger?
The fan-favourite Steakhouse Steak will be rolling into town in May for £5.99, featuring two 100% British and Irish beef burgers, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onion, lettuce and a drizzle of black peppercorn sauce all sandwiched in a toasted and glazed sesame bun.
That’s not all. For those with a love for some capsacin, the McSpicy is getting a fiery upgrade with the McSpicy X Frank’s RedHot burger from May 7th for £5.99. This one comes with a 100% chicken breast fillet in a hot and cruispy batter, Emmental cheese, jalapeños, onions, and the unique Frank’s RedHot Mayo. Hot property indeed!
Along with the Frank’s RedHot burger option, you’ll also be able to get hold of the RedHot Mayo dip separately. Ideal for dipping just about anything savoury, this tangy mayo might unseat BBQ as the go-to Maccies dip.
If the flavour sensation wasn’t enough, you’ll get double the reward points in your McDonald’s app when you buy the McSpicy X Frank’s RedHot burger through it.
3. Keep the kids quiet
Another May addition is a very limited kids option: the Dragon-type Pokémon Happy meal. Coming in boxes featuring much-loved dragon Pokémon like Dragonite, Rayquaza, and Salamence – along with faux-dragon Charizard – this one runs from May 14th to June 17th 2025.
Each Happy Meal will contain a limited edition Dragon-type Pokémon toy, or one of two Little People Big Dreams books: ‘I Can Make Amazing Music’ or ‘I Can Be a Wonderful Artist’.
If you’ve got some burgeoning Pokémon Masters in your home, or you’ve yet to hang up your Poké Balls as you steadily march towards 40, you’d best snap these up before they’re gone.
4. A breakfast shake-up
If you’re looking to smash some Maccies early in the day, you can now do it on a stricter budget. The first-ever Breakfast Saver Menu drops across 332 UK restaurants from May 7th, with this trial set to hit every McDonald’s in the country later this year.
The new Breakfast Saver Menu includes the Sausage Sandwich at £1.99 and the Saver Bacon Roll at £2.19, along with fan-favourites such as the Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, porridge, apple slices, hash browns, and both orange and apple Tropicana drinks.
5. Here for a good time and (maybe) long time
The final bit of news from Ronald’s gaff is very welcome indeed: both The Chicken Katsu Wrap and the Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers are sticking around for the time being. The Katsu Wrap is available for just £1.99 on Wednesdays, and your dippers will come with a rich and satisfying tomato dip.
There’s no telling when these will be taken off the menu, so be sure to grab the munch and savings while you can.
