This month, fans of the finger-lickin’ brand can get their chops around a brand new menu item: the Cheesy Melt Burger.
Featuring one of the brand’s original chicken pieces, the Cheesy Melt Burger consists of a crispy hash brown, lettuce, and onion chutney, all sandwiched between a glazed sesame bun.

Hot Cheese Sauce is served on the side and can be poured or dripped onto the burger to ‘deliver maximum cheese impact in every bite’.
The seriously craveable comfort item is available for a limited time - six weeks in fact - and is priced at £7.99.
Or, make it a Box Meal for £10.49. As well as the chicken stack, you will be able to munch on the fast-food bran’s signature fries and your choice of chicken, side, and drink.
The Hot Cheese sauce is also available to purchase separately for £1.99.
This means you can dunk your Twister Wraps or layer on top of a Zinger Ranch Rice Bowl for an extra dose of creamy goodness.
Speaking about the Cheesy Melt Burger, which officially launched in UK and Ireland-based KFC’s on 9 February, Dani Ruggles, Marketing Manager for KFC UK & Ireland, said that the company are ‘listening’ to fans.
“We know that right now, they’re not just going crazy for cheese, but cheese you can dip, dunk, and even pour exactly how you want. Our delicious Hot Cheese Sauce puts them in control of just how cheesy they want their meal to get,” she added.

Social media users have been sharing their thoughts on the Cheesy Melt Burger, with one typing on Instagram: “Wow ima purchase this IMMEDIATELY!!!”
Another said the product looked ‘banging’ while someone on Facebook typed: “LIQUID CHEESE YESSSSS.”
“Omg can I just order cheese sauce,” a fourth replied.
Grab the Cheesy Melt Burger from participating restaurants and delivery platforms before it’s gone on 22 March.
The six-week special comes amid KFC’s announcement that it would begin sourcing chicken wings from British farms.
The change will mean that a whopping 35 percent of KFC UK&I’s chicken will originate from British farms through an expansion of its partnership with 2 Sisters Food Group, as per The Grocer.
“At KFC we want to back British farmers and are always looking for opportunities to increase our British sourcing in a balanced sustainable way,” said Marc Hayes, Yum chief supply chain officer Europe.

“I’m delighted that the nation’s favourite hot wings will now be British sourced thanks to our expansion with our key supplier 2 Sisters Food Group.”
Hayes added that the company is ‘proud’ of its partnership with 2 Sisters Food Group and Pilgrim’s Europe, and that it would ‘continue collaborating to drive up welfare standards across the chicken industry, at the same time as balancing the reduction of the environmental impact of chicken’.
“The move ensures British farmers are supported to produce high-quality poultry that meets the expectations of both consumers and robust welfare standards,” added Ranjit Singh, president of 2 Sisters Food Group.
