Domino’s may have just launched the most divisive product of the summer, with some fans claiming that their ‘curiosity’ is getting the best of them, despite airing their ‘concern’ for the brand.
There’s really not much that can faze fast-food fans anymore: they’ve almost seen it all with unique KFC pickle jackets, jaw-dropping hot honey ice cream from McDonald’s, and even a flash-in-the-pan ‘Hamburgers to Fly’ service.
However, Domino’s may have just shocked the nation with its brand-new summer concept, inspired by its iconic Garlic and Herb dip.
The rich sauce, described by the brand as ‘creamy, indulgent, and kicking with garlicky goodness’, is often used for dipping crusts and enjoying with classic Domino’s sides, including chicken strippers, garlic pizza bread, and plant-based nuggets.

However, this summer, the takeaway favourite has gone one step further by turning its delicious dip into a summertime treat.

Yes, that’s right: Domino’s has created the most controversial combination of the summer.
For a limited time, fans of the brand can take their chances in a competition to win pots of Garlic and Herb ice cream.
The funky delight has been made by hand-stirring the savoury dip into locally sourced dairy ingredients from Devon.
“Our dip has become a bit of an icon in its own right, with customers finding all sorts of creative ways to enjoy it over the years,” said a brand spokesperson.
“This summer, we thought we’d go one scoop further and take it somewhere completely unexpected.”
To put the jaw-dropping taste sensation to the test, Domino’s enlisted staff to serve the Garlic and Herb ice cream on Brighton seafront.
Customers were offered a tub of the good stuff alongside a drizzle of the original dip, if they really wanted.

However, it’s fair to say that the reviews were pretty mixed, with Famous Campaigns writing that one thought it was a late-to-the-party April Fool’s prank.
On Facebook, Domino’s clarified that it was either the Garlic and Herb ice cream or a pineapple burger… We know what we would have prefered.
Social media users remain divided over the new product, with one person typing: “Is this to fend off the sparkly summer vampires?”
“I’m getting abit concerned with dominos tbh,” a second said.
Someone else commented: “Games gone.”
Others are already firm fans, with one writing: “Entered because i'm mad for dominos garlic and herb, the ice cream would be the best.”

“Bring this to Canada you know we drink that sauce,” another responded.
A third commented: “Still not as bad as a digital-only video games console,” referring to the jibe that Domino’s made about PlayStation earlier this summer.
“I have mixed feelings about this, but my curiosity is getting the best of me!!,” a fourth added.
So what do we think? Yay to the Domino’s Garlic and Herb ice cream? Or are you avoiding that thing like the plague?
