The internet is seemingly divided over Kraft’s new festive-inspired range of packet macaroni cheese, with some going as far as to call the product ‘culinary abominations’.
Brands across the United States are gearing up for Christmas: Little Debbie’s has released two new exciting sweet treat flavours; Starbucks launched its 2026 holiday menu, featuring a mouthwatering tiramisu latte, and fans have a lot to say about Pepperidge Farm’s ‘unusual’ sourdough cookies, too.
Weeks after Pepsi won over the crowd with its ‘must buy’, limited-edition flavour, Kraft has attempted to do the same. But the results? They seem to be a little more mixed.
On Monday (2 November), the cult convenience brand announced two new winter warmer flavours: Cinnamon Roll and Chilli Crisp.

The former adds a sweet cinnamon twist to the classic Kraft macaroni and cheese taste—one that has been described by the brand as ‘creamy’ with a ‘slightly tangy bite’.

Chilli Crisp apparently ‘capitalises on consumers’ love for chilli crisp, which has seen a 923 percent growth on U.S. restaurant menus over the past four years’, as per Kraft.
Both items have arrived in time for the holidays; customers can pick up the Chilli flavour from the local Meijer and Walmart, or purchase via Amazon.
Cinnamon Roll Kraft Mac and Cheese is a Walmart exclusive and is only available for a limited time.
While a spicy version of the classic boxed snack doesn’t appear too outlandish, social media is divided over the Cinnamon Roll.
“Leave it to Kraft to make straight culinary abominations,” one X user wrote.
A second replied: “Man I want to be the ideas guy for Kraft if we're just doing whatever.”

Someone else remarked: “This is not culinary innovation. this is a hostage situation with dairy.”
However, others appear more open to the idea of tucking into a sweet bowl of pasta.
“I know this s**t gone be fire I can’t wait,” one said.
Another reported: “Not only would I willingly try this, but I'm also actively thinking of how I could potentially deep fry it lmao.”
A third added: “Cinnamon roll mac and cheese is just breakfast and dinner finally settling their differences.”
This isn’t the first time Kraft has branched down the sweet aisle, having previously served up an Apple Pie flavour in 2025.
The eyebrow-raising innovation combined the brand's familiar mac and cheese taste with hints of cinnamon and green apple.
It even won the approval of American Pie actor Jason Biggs, who called it ‘daring yet delicious’.
