Gordon Ramsay has announced plans to open a '60s-themed gastropub' at Disneyland, and many people are saying the same thing.

The celebrity chef already owns a huge variety of restaurants, from a signature burger joint all the way up to his three Michelin starred flagship in Chelsea, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.

But now the chef is taking Hell's Kitchen to the Happiest Place on Earth in a partnership with Disneyland, opening up Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby.

Sharing the news, Instagram fan page Disneyeats said: "Yes, Chef! Earl of Sandwich and Chef Gordon Ramsay are teaming up to bring an all-new ‘60s British-themed gastropub to @DowntownDisney at @Disneyland Resort! Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby will be located atop of the new Earl of Sandwich and feature Chef Ramsay's legendary British fare, along with live music on select nights."

But many people were left saying the same thing in the comments below.

This was concern that the restaurant would be too expensive for the simple British fare it said it would be offering, ramping up the costs of a Disney trip that already doesn't usually come cheap.

One said: "I’m not trying to be THAT guy, but can you imagine the cost of the food inside this place."

Another remarked: "Get ready to pay $40 for a turkey sandwich," while a third posted: "So I’m guessing the RamDis burgers will be running about $40 add $5 for cheese."

Someone else pointed out that theme park food is already expensive so the addition of a celebrity name will only make it worse.

They wrote: "Oh goodie! Nothing like having already over priced theme park fish n chips that now cost 25-40% more just cuz of the restaurant name."

Disney was also criticised as one person said: "First all the idiotic ticketing tiers, now this. I guess I’m just done with Disneyland."

But others were less critical of the announcement, with many people also taking to the comments to share their excitement at the new restaurant.

One wrote: "Oh my gosh.. this is exciting!"

A second said 'this is amazing news', and a third wrote simply: "Omg can’t wait!!"

According to an announcement the menu will feature 'classic British fare', including fish and chips, sticky toffee pudding, and Ramsay's signature Beef Wellington

In a statement, Ramsay said: “All eyes were on London in the 1960s, a full on fantastic technicolour scene of people going out and having fun. We are bringing those cool vibes to Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby.

“Stunning interiors, incredible food and great music, whether it’s date night or dinner with friends or family, The Carnaby is going to bring the very best of cool Britannia to Downtown Disney District.”

In a wry post, one commenter replied: "Serve beans on toast or it’s not authentic."
