Gordon Ramsay has let his thoughts be known about a very popular US dish that families serve around the holidays.
In an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon a few years back, the conversation quickly turned to Thanksgiving, as it was less than a week away.
Ramsay shared that after ‘busting’ his bottom off in the kitchen for years, he has passed the Thanksgiving cooking torch to his four children, so that he and wife Tana can rest their feet.
But when host Jimmy Fallon questioned what they would be cooking, things quickly became clear that the famed chef wasn’t interested in a traditional southern bird.

He explained that he wouldn’t be serving something that Fallon likes to eat, called ‘Turducken’.
Fallon, who said he would ‘absolutely’ eat it, while Ramsay was quick to call the idea ‘terrible’.
When the host went on to ask him what he means, as it’s pure ‘Americana' that’s 'fantastic’, the celebrity chef appeared to say it was ‘s***’, though it was beeped out because he ‘can’t say that’ on US national television.
What is a turducken and why does Gordon Ramsay dislike it?
Anyway, you might be wondering what turducken is, and why Ramsay called it ‘the biggest pile of c*** I’ve ever tasted in my life’.

Essentially, the dish occurs when you put the ‘chicken and shove it in the duck and then you shove them both in a turkey’.
“I knew it was overcooked; you could smell it was overcooked,” said Ramsay, who then admitted to feeding the dish to his friend’s family dog.
Ramsay then claimed the pooch began to throw up, and believes the food was so bad, it made the dog poorly.
As for Fallon, he told Ramsay that you ‘can’t invite you anywhere, man’.
People in the comments were quick to call Ramsay out, with one staying: "Gordon Ramsey is savage af in the best way possible."

Someone else said: "Gordan Ramsey is my idol. He is a savage, good tastes, good cooks and not afraid to swear."
In fact, a lot of people mentioned 'savage' when commenting about his 'c***' expression.
Where does the turducken come from?
According to the internet, turducken is a dish associated with Louisiana, which features a deboned chicken which is then stuffed into a deboned duck, and then they are both stuffed into a deboned turkey.

For anyone who eats it outside North America, it is usually known as a three-bird roast.
When it comes to the UK, we have something similar too, but it includes stuffing in the middle of the three birds.
It’s pretty nice, so it’s a shocker that Ramsay is against something that includes three of the most favoured birds to dine on.
Maybe he’s more of a singular bird man, or one of those people who like to bake salmon for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Yes, there are people out there who do that.
