Julie Chrisley is set to star in a new cooking programme, hinting that she may make meals enjoyed during her 28-month prison stint.
The reality TV star, who rose to fame on the popular USA Network series Chrisley Knows Best and its subsequent spin-offs, was sentenced to jail for bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022 with her husband, Todd Chrisley.
Julie, who was supposed to serve seven years behind bars, and Todd, who was handed a 12-year sentence, reported to prison in January 2023, with notices of appeals being submitted the same month.
In May 2025, US President Donald Trump granted the 52-year-old and her spouse a full pardon. The couple were released from their cells hours later.

Following their prison exit, the pair swiftly relaunched their Chrisley Confessions podcast, and recently announced a new cooking show.

On a podcast episode, shared on December 17, Todd revealed his wife of over 30 years would begin shooting the programme in February, joking that he would be 'producing'.
“I've not heard this and I've not agreed to this. This is my baby. It's not yours,” the mum-of-four denied, as per People.

In response, Todd claimed he’d been ‘doing deep dives into comments’, alleging ‘so many people’ wanted her to make food she’d eaten during her jail time, which he seemingly referred to as ‘summer camp’.
“So, I think that you do that. I think that you do some of those things.,” he added.
In response, Julie promised: “I will incorporate some of that into it.”
When asked what she wanted the ‘tone’ of the culinary extravaganza to be, the Chrisley matriarch confessed: “I want it to be things that I actually cook, and I want it to be things that everybody else can cook.

“I don't want it to be crazy ingredients that people have to go out here and search and find. I want the majority of it to be things that if you cook, that you would have in your pantry to cook.”

The upcoming Chrisley cooking show comes off the back of What’s Cooking with Julie Chrisley, a 2019 video series which featured family members and chefs.
The clips were originally uploaded to the Chrisley Knows Best YouTube channel.

Earlier this year, Julie and Todd detailed the kind of food they ate whilst being respectively held at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida and the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
“I had a Chick-fil-A,” Todd said on an episode of Chrisley Confessions.
“I’m not gonna come on here and lie. I had a Chick-fil-A. I had a Burger King. I had pizza.”
He also claimed to have eaten takeout from Olive Garden, but admitted he ‘didn’t like it’.

Julie’s diet was reportedly very different to her husband’s, claiming she ‘didn’t have a single morsel of outside food for 28 months’.
