The matriarch of Britain’s biggest family revealed how much she’d spent on a weekly food shop - and the answer may shock you.
Sue, 50, and Noel Radford, 54, are famous for heading up Channel 5's 22 Kids and Counting, the beloved reality TV programme documenting their lives with 22 children.
The couple, whose offspring range from 36 to 5, recently found themselves in hot water due to taking a £52,000 trip to Disney World to celebrate Sue’s birthday.
Preston Magistrates’ Court found the pair guilty of failing to ensure that four of their children attended school regularly between 24 March and 1 May 2025.

They were fined £65 for each child and ordered to pay £118 in court costs, as per LancsLive.

As well as embarking on major overseas holidays, the Radford Family also seems to spend an absolute fortune on weekly grocery shopping.
According to data collected by NimbleFins, the average UK household spends £74 on the weekly food shop and £27 on takeaways.

However, as the average British family consists of approximately 2.35 residents (via the Office for National Statistics), it's fair to say the reality TV family doesn’t really fit the mould.
It turns out the Radfords spend a jaw-dropping amount on massive grocery hauls, as seen in a recent Instagram post.
Vegetables, cereal, pizza, eggs, and dairy products like milk could be seen on the kitchen table, alongside meat products and cleaning supplies.
Sue asked her followers if they were able to successfully guess how much she’d spent on her family’s food from Aldi for her bumper brood.

Despite receiving ‘lots of guesses’, nobody successfully managed to calculate the cost of the provisions.
“Lots of you guessed pretty close, but most guessed around £200,” Sue said.
“The actually total was £375.65 [sic].”

Although that figure will most likely fluctuate, that equates to a stunning £19,533.80 a year that the Radford family could potentially spend on weekly food shops.
With Christmas around the corner, the YouTubers are gearing up for another round of festive fun.

According to past reports, the family spends between £100 and £200 on each one of their 22 children, which usually results in around 300 presents being bought in total.

“I buy presents through the year, and wrap them as they come in,” Sue admitted, per The Sun.
“One of our biggest headaches at Christmas is where to hide all the gifts. We have them everywhere — even in the boiler cupboard. The trick is remembering where."
She added that she and her husband usually get through around 70 rolls of wrapping paper each year.
When it comes to the festive feast, Noel is in charge of cooking a 10kg turkey, 7kg of potatoes and sprouts, 50 Yorkshire puddings, 80 pigs in blankets, and making litres of gravy.
The couple apparently stays up late peeling potatoes and vegetables before the kids wake up at 6.30am to open gifts.
