Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively is allegedly calling time on her Betty Booze brand, according to various reports.
The 39-year-old, who launched her beverage company in the United States in 2023, is apparently ‘abandoning’ trademarks, with a source telling TMZ they include marks for beer-based products, nonalcoholic carbonated beverages and other products.
People Magazine said a source confirmed that the trademark applications point to Lively ‘slowly’ saying farwell to both Betty Booze and its sister brand, non-alcoholic business Betty Buzz, founded in 2021.
Despite the alleged cancellations, trademarks for both brands remain active, the outlet reported.

The Betty Buzz Instagram, which as 278,000 followers, has not shared an update since early April.
Meanwhile, Betty Booze last shared a promotinal image for its canned vodka iced tea on 28 September. The beverage brand had 136,000 followers on Instagram, respectively.
FOODbible has contacted Betty Booze and Betty Buzz for comment.

Lively first entered the drinks market with Betty Buzz sparkling mixers, eventually expanding into tequila and bourbon canned cocktails under Betty Booze.
Despite not drinking alcohol, Lively has previously discussed enjoying the social aspect of crafting cocktails.
"I don't drink because I don't like the effects of alcohol, but I like being a part of it,” she said in November 2021.
“I like being social. I like people coming together. I found that sometimes not drinking, the thing that was interesting was that it was a little alienating, because you don't feel - and maybe it's just in your own head - but you just don't really feel a part of it.”
She also previously said that while drinking wasn’t ‘her thing’, flavour was.
“Homemade recipes. Real fruit. Real ingredients. Quality booze. No crap. Also a real-time saver. Which is why I really did it.”

Last year, the mother-of-three celebrated the launch of Betty Booze Meyer Lemonade and Passion Fruit, claiming she and the team had spent ‘so much time on every single flavor’.
She claimed: “They really are from recipes in my home, something that we make over and over again.”
The alleged ‘winding down’ of Betty Booze and Betty Buzz comes amid the ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Usdirector Justin Baldoni.
Four months after the release, the Simple Favor favourite accused the 42-year-old of sexual harassment and retaliation.
Baldoni, who denied the allegations, filed a now-dismissed countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
A federal judge granted Lively $407,451.75 of a requested $8 million in attorneys’ fees and litigation costs stemming from the legal battle in August.
