Paris Hilton's pizza hack for removing grease leaves people seriously grossed out

The socialite’s grease-removal method will at least give her immune system a quick test.

If you’ve ordered a pizza, you’ve made your bed.

You know it’s a carb-bomb, you know it’s going to be high in salt, you know it’s going to be greasy, you know it’s going to be delicious. Deal with it.

Some want to have their pizza and eat it, of course, by opting for various calorie-saving hacks to make the pizza feel a little less indulgent. Maybe you skip out on the cheese, maybe you go for a thin crust, maybe you pour the puddle of grease out of your pepperoni before you eat it.

If you’re Paris Hilton, maybe you opt for something a little more unorthodox. The 44-year-old granddaughter of the Hilton Hotels founder has taken to TikTok to share her method for de-greasing a pizza, and it looks like she’s robbing Peter to pay Paul on the health front.

“This is the content people want,” said someone off-camera as Paris shows off her technique.

The socialite and media icon seems to be at a party with friends with stacks of pizza boxes laid in front of her. She grabs a large slice of one, then does something you’ve likely never seen before.

She places the pizza top-down on top of one of the box lids and pressed lightly on it, lifting it up to reveal the triangular shadow of grease left behind. Then she does it again for good measure.

That’s hot.

To be fair, that pizza does seem particularly heavy on the grease: the second greasy triangle is about as dark as the first.

Now, let’s give credit where it’s due: she certainly saved herself was looks like a tablespoon of oil there. Considering her style has long been rooted in the skinny blonde aesthetic, she’s likely more conscious of such things than many of us mere mortals.

But, of course, let’s not pretend the pizza box was the most hygienic way to lift that grease off. It’s likely been sat in a storage cupboard, possibly on the floor, possibly the wrong way up, likely picking up some dust and grime and bacteria that don’t make for great toppings.

She’s also lucky that the pizza seems to have some unusual structural integrity. It’s something of a miracle that she didn’t leave any cheese or toppings behind with the grease.

The ever-glamorous Paris is unlikely to share any resultant ill-effects of her unhygienic approach to grease removal, of course.

Fans have been very busy in the TikTok’s comments section, as you might have guessed.

“Girl. The boxes are dirty,” said one sage comment.

“On the OUTSIDE of the box??” added another who’s got their own riff on the method: “Girl use the inside it is more absorbent and cleaner.”

“God knows where that box was, no thanks,” said another shocked commenter.

“The only thing my brain got from this is... the permanent oil stains on the pretty gloves,” opined another with somewhat different priorities.
