Glastonbury hopefuls are preparing for one of the most stressful ticket scrambles of the year, and McDonald's is stepping in with free food and boosted Wi-Fi to help fans through it.
With tickets for Glastonbury 2027 going on sale today, October 1, and Sunday, October 4, the fast-food giant is opening three ‘Queue Hubs’ to help, as well as offering goodies for those trying their luck at home.
The hubs will give fans somewhere to sit, connect to stronger free Wi-Fi and, for the first 100 customers, pick up a free breakfast item or meal.
The three participating restaurants are in Harlow, Wythenshawe and Warminster, with McDonald's saying they are in areas historically associated with lower Glastonbury ticket success rates because of home broadband speeds.

There’s nothing worse than your internet slowing to a snail’s pace when the pressure is on.

Rather than relying on potentially unreliable broadband at home while staring nervously at a ticket queue, fans can head to their nearest participating restaurant and try their luck together on Sunday morning.
The hubs will run from 8.30am to 11am on Sunday, with the ticket scramble expected to provide plenty of tension as thousands of people attempt to secure a place at Worthy Farm.
McDonald's describes the ticket sale as more than just a purchase, calling it a ‘ritual’ involving ‘frantic prep, endless refreshing, crossed fingers and group chats working overtime’.
At the participating restaurants, fans will have access to upgraded free Wi-Fi and food offers for the first 100 customers.
At Harlow and Wythenshawe, adults can claim a regular Sausage & Egg, Bacon & Egg or Egg & Cheese McMuffin meal, including a hash brown and drink.
Children aged four to 11 can also receive a selected breakfast meal when redeemed by an adult.
Warminster is doing things slightly differently, with the first 100 customers able to claim a regular McCafé drink from a selection including flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos and tea.
The three Queue Hubs are located at Harlow The Oaks Retail Park, Wythenshawe Civic Centre and Castlemore Retail Park in Warminster.
For those who would rather stay at home, McDonald's has not forgotten about you either.

On Thursday, 1 October, customers can claim a free Cheeseburger with a minimum £1 spend through the McDonald's app between 5pm and 7pm.
Then, on Sunday morning, a free Sausage & Egg or Bacon & Egg McMuffin can be claimed with a £1 minimum spend between 8am and 10am, subject to the offer's terms and participating restaurants.
Both offers can be used for collection or delivery, although delivery fees apply.
To claim, simply open the McDonald’s App during the live offer windows - Thursday, 1st October from 6–8pm and Sunday, 4th October 9-11am, to redeem your free Cheeseburger or McMuffin with a £1 spend at participating restaurants.
The timing is likely to be particularly useful for anyone who regards breakfast as essential equipment for surviving a Glastonbury ticket queue.
After all, there are few things more likely to test your patience than watching a spinning loading symbol while thousands of other hopeful festivalgoers are doing exactly the same thing.
Whether the boosted Wi-Fi will make the difference between getting tickets and missing out remains to be seen.
But for fans facing a nervous Sunday morning, some company and a free bite to eat at McDonald's might make it a tad less stressful.
