US President Donald Trump has opened up about his go-to McDonald's order - and what he thinks the chain could be doing better.
Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to their McDonald's order. While some always go for a chicken option, for others it has to be the Big Mac or a Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
Then there's the sides - nuggets or selects? Or how about a sharebox?
While most of us have a favourite order, or at least a favourite item, it's not often that you hear people mention the Filet-O-Fish.

In fact, the burger - which has been on the menu for decades - is one of the chain's least popular items.
It features a crispy white pollock fish filet patty, with cheese and tartare sauce.
Apparently, it's one of Trump's favourites, although he would like a small modification to be made.

In a speech to McDonald’s executives at the company’s Impact Summit in Washington this week, Trump started talking about the food, and what he likes.
“I like the fish,” he said, making a sound effect and a gesture with his hand.
“I like it.”
He added a small suggestion, though, requesting that McDonald's add more sauce.

“You could do a little bit more tartar sauce, though, please,” he said. “Seriously.”

It's no secret that Trump is a fan of the fast-food chain.
Last month, Republican National Committee chair, Joe Gruters, spoke about Trump's McDonald's orders during the 2024 campaign trail.

“He had hot fries waiting for him from McDonald’s... And then he had a Filet-O-Fish, a Quarter Pounder, and a Big Mac, and I think he combined two of them,” Gruters told the Chambers, Changes & Conversations podcast.
He also said that Trump finished it off with an orange soda, but didn't specify which one.
Meanwhile, Trump's son, Trump Jr., has also spoken about his dad's love of the fast-food giant.

Back in 2023, during an episode of his Triggered podcast, Trump Jr. spoke about his dad's trip to East Palestine, Ohio where he was seen at a McDonald's buying meals for emergency crews.
At the time, Trump said he probably knew the McDonald's menu better than the chain's employees.
"So, I know this menu better than you do. I probably know it better than anybody in here," he said.
Speaking of his dad's comment, Trump Jr. responded: "By the way, 100% accurate, ok. No one knows it better.
"No one probably eats more of it, per capita, than Donald Trump."
