Halloween treats are now everywhere, but one fast food chains's spooky inspired menu is getting particular attention.
For many of us, Halloween might just mean an excuse to pig out on as many sweets and candy as we can get away with, whilst also remembering to give some out for trick or treaters.
But for Burger King in the US, the fast food menu has had a whole Halloween update and it's safe to say that people are getting excited in the lead up to 31 October.
The chain has unveiled a new lineup of seasonal treats, including Mummy Mozzarella Fries, Vampire Nuggets, Franken-Candy Sundae and Jack-O-Lantern Whoppers.

The Mummy Mozzarella Fries are sure to be a winner and consist of crispy mozzarella sticks 'wrapped' in golden breading, paired with a marinara dipping sauce and served in a special limited-edition mummy-themed box.
The Vampire Nuggets are crispy chicken nuggets shaped like vampire fangs and bats served in a carton designed as a coffin, perfect for dipping.
It's the latter that seems to have caught most people's eyes, as it's reminded them of another gem from nuggets past.

"Omg omg the vampire nuggets are taking me back to when BK used to have the crown nuggets," one fan pointed out on Instagram.
Someone else echoed: "The crown shaped bk nuggets were the best, I’m hoping these can compare."
A third said: "Vampire nuggies are giving me flashbacks to crown nuggets which is a great thing."
A fourth begged: "So they prove they can make nuggets in different shapes....can they bring their old crown nuggets back then? Taste and shape from the 90s?"

The crown nuggets were an iconic staple of the Burger King menu in the early noughties, with chicken shaped like a crown.
However, they were sadly discontinued in 2011, much to fans' despair.

Others were enjoying the nostalgic aesthetic of the new items, with another commenting: "This is giving late 90s/early 2000s vibes I feel."

One person also said: "Omggggg I love BKs Halloween stuff."
The new menu also features the Franken-Candy Sundae, which has vanilla soft serve topped with OREO cookie crumbles, purple franken-candy syrup, and purple and green popping candy.
Finally, the Jack-O-Lantern Whopper is the Halloween take on a flame-grilled Whopper, stacked with American cheese, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mayo, on a striking Jack O’ Lantern orange bun topped with black sesame seeds that gets its festive hue from natural spice.
Alongside the new menu launches, the fast food chain has also given its kids' meals a spooky makeover and the Burger King Jr Meal Toys will feature Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang. There's six to collect, with one in every meal.

Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King US&C, said about the new launch, "BK fans have come to expect something spirited from us during the Halloween season, and each year we try to bring even more fun to families.
"This year, we’ve dialed up the fun and flavor, not only with our ‘Monster Menu’ line-up complete with themed menu innovation, packaging and a special crown, but also with collectible buckets and Scooby-Doo toys – creating even more experiences for everyone."
