Burger King is taking Star Wars Day to a whole other level this year with the launch of a special four-part menu, celebrating The Mandalorian and Grogu finally hitting theatres.

The anticipated sci-fi flick is set to arrive in theatres on May 22, with Pedro Pascal gearing up as Mando to jet off on a New Republic mission with his apprentice, Din Grogu.

The unlikely pair will pick up Rotta the Hutt (voiced by Jeremy Allen White), the son of deceased crime lord Jabba, whom fans first met as the child that Ahsoka Tano christened ‘stinky’ in 2008’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars film.

Ahead of the Jon Favreau-directed project, Burger King has shared four new menu items and a quartet of collectable cups inspired by the George Lucas-founded franchise.

The new products will be available to purchase in the United States on Star Wars Day - that’s 4 May (May the 4th Be With You, get it?) if you’re unfamiliar with the annual event.

BBQ Bounty Whopper

The first is the BBQ Bounty Whopper - a flame-grilled, quarter-pounder topped with melty Swiss cheese, pickle chips, bacon, crunchy lettuce, tomato, and a creamy BBQ Bounty Sauce.

The out-of-this-world burger is set to be served inside a paper Beskar helmet, known as beskar'gam in Mando'a.

Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries and Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots

Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries, seasoned with parmesan and garlic, are served in a cute Grogu-inspired carton, while Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots come in an Imperial-themed box.

The latter are described as ‘perfectly crispy tots stuffed with melty cheddar cheese. They come with a side of moreish ranch seasoning.

Grogu's Blue Cookie Shake

If you dream about tasting Nevarro Nummies, the teal-blue macarons that Grogu eats in The Mandalorian, then Burger King has the next best thing.

Introducing the limited-time Grogu's Blue Cookie Shake. It’s a swirl of creamy soft serve blended with blue sugar cookie syrup, and topped with the Force-sensitive child’s favorite snack – blue cookies.

All four galactic-inspired items are available to purchase at participating US stores.

Excitingly, there are four exclusive cups to pick up too which can be picked up by purchasing:

  • The Bounty Bundle, featuring all four Star Wars products in a special box
  • The BBQ Bounty Whopper Combo
  • 12pc Grogu's Garlic Chicken Fry Combo

Regarding the new menu, Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer of Burger King U.S. & Canada, said: “Star Wars has shaped generations of fans, and as we head into the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, we saw an opportunity to bring that excitement straight into our restaurants.

"From themed packaging to bold, flavor-forward menu items, this is our way of celebrating an iconic new film with the iconic flame-grilled taste only Burger King can deliver.”

Kids can also get involved with the The Mandalorian and Grogu promotion when the King Jr. Meal lands on 28 April.

Your little ones can select a hamburger or a 4-pc nugget basket, apple sauce and skids fry size, and choose a drink of milk or apple juice.

Each box contains a Mandalorian-themed toy deisgned for the next generation of planet-hoppers to enjoy.

Customers can pick up their adventure packs by ordering through the Burger King App, online, or in-store.
