With the summer in full swing, potent refreshment has shot up many people’s agendas.

Thankfully, our favourite fast food brands have more than answered the call, and yet another refreshing classic is hurtling back to menus on 14 July 2025.

McDonald’s has treated us to the Biscoff Frappé and the Frozen Cherry Lemonade alongside its regular roster of soft drinks and milkshakes, KFC has its delicious Watermelon and Lime Southern Refresher, and Starbucks’ Refresha range is quenching thirsts up and down the country.

Now Burger King is upping the ante with a returning favourite: the Frozen Cotton Candy Cloud.

The blue, icy beverage first hit Burger King outlets in April 2024, and the King reckons it

‘quickly became the most popular frozen beverage’ in its press release announcing the return.

It’s described as a ‘delicious blend of bold blue raspberry and nostalgic cotton candy flavors’, and it’s sure to get the taste buds firing while it quenches those summer thirsts.

The drink comes with a cotton candy-flavoured frozen base, and for an extra charge you can get a ‘cloud’ foam topping to finish the effect. Burger King says the foam is worth the extra cost, with a ‘light and fluffy finish that’s just as sweet as it sounds’.

It was a hit with fans when it launched in 2024.

“Just got three of these without the cloud because my stomach is already mad from yesterday,” said one Redditor. “The flavor is soo good to me! The prominent flavor is blue raspberry and then you taste the pink towards the end of the sip.”

Another added: “I saw the sign and ordered one with the foam, which is super sweet the consistency was almost like that of marshmallow topping you'd put on ice cream but still tasty lol the drink itself tasted like cotton candy but mine wasn't blue it was a magenta color? ...it's definitely something kids are going to enjoy most.”

“I tried it yesterday and after a long terrible day at work,” shared another. “It actually made me smile and not hate life so much. going to get another one today.”

Yet another chimed: “It is soooooooo good. Been getting it every day I work.”

It’s safe to say the news of its return has gone down well with fans.

"Just jumped for joy omg,” said an Instagram user who ‘loved this drink’.

“It’s soo good!” said another.

“Absolutely, I love this!” added another fan.

There’s a good chance it will disappear from menus again sometime soon, so be sure to head down to your local Burger King to give it a go.
