Taco Bell is officially taking us back to the early 2000s with the launch of its Decades Y2K menu, dropping nationwide on September 9, 2025. Nostalgia is the name of the game, and the fast-food giant is bringing back five fan-favorite items from the 1990s and 2000s - all for $3 or less. It’s a chance to relive some of the most iconic Taco Bell creations that disappeared from menus far too soon.

Originally introduced in 1995, it vanished from menus but remains a nostalgic favorite. Now back at $2.49, it’s basically a time machine for your taste buds.

Next is the Chili Cheese Burrito, formerly known as the Chilito. Simple, hearty, and utterly satisfying, it’s packed with seasoned chili and shredded cheddar cheese wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. First launched in 1990 and discontinued a few years later, it gained cult status among Taco Bell fans.

At $2.99, this is a must-order for anyone craving a taste of the original Y2K menu vibes.

7-Layer Burrito (1993)

Vegetarians, rejoice: the 7-Layer Burrito is making its comeback. A mix of seasoned rice, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheddar cheese all wrapped in a soft tortilla, it’s a hearty, flavorful vegetarian option. Originally introduced in 1993 and retired in 2020, it’s now back for $2.49 - proving that good things really do come back around.

Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco (2012)

First launched in 2012 and retired in 2019, it returns by popular demand at $2.49. Crunchy, cheesy, and undeniably fun, it’s a snack that screams early 2000s indulgence.

Caramel Apple Empanada (Early 2000s)

Dessert lovers, you’re not left out. The Caramel Apple Empanada features a crispy pastry shell with warm apple and caramel filling. Introduced in the early 2000s and retired in 2019, this sweet treat is back for $1.49. It’s the perfect way to wrap up your blast-from-the-past meal.

To celebrate, Taco Bell is also dropping a $9 Discovery Luxe Box, which includes a Crunchwrap Supreme, a Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco, chips, and a drink - honoring the 20th anniversary of the iconic Crunchwrap Supreme. Plus, there’s Y2K-themed merch and even a virtual pet companion named Crunchkin available through the Taco Bell app.

Whether you grew up with Taco Bell or are just discovering the classics, the Decades Y2K menu is a nostalgia-fueled feast you won’t want to miss. Hit up your nearest Taco Bell starting September 9 before these throwback favorites disappear… again.
