Sometimes you just don't want to have to choose between a Jaffa Cake and a Digestive biscuit - now those tormented days are over after McVitie's announced a dream collab.
That's right, now there's a Jaffa Cake Digestive hybrid, which surely puts an end to the biscuit or cake debate, too.
The makers of the Jaffa Cake have always sworn down that it's a cake, so now they've finally given in and made a 100%, no-doubt-about-it, Jaffa biscuit.
A debate team at the University of Buckingham recently ruffled feathers when they showed debate footage online, which claimed once again that Jaffa Cakes are actually biscuits.

The brand has now opted to trade in the signature spongy base of the Jaffa Cake for the much more substantial Digestive biscuit, creating something which they proudly say 'you can actually dunk'.

A spokesperson for McVitie’s said, “We’re well aware of the nation’s biscuit believers. In fact, we’ve spent years and a considerable amount of time proving that Jaffa Cakes (clue’s in the name) are cakes. But we are setting the record straight once and for all, and it seems creating an actual biscuit is the only way forward. We hope cake and biscuit fans alike enjoy it, and that biscuit-believers across the UK can finally put the debate to bed.”
They're on shelves in Sainbury's now, featuring the iconic Jaffa filling with the much-loved traditional Digestive base.
It's the best of both worlds for biscuit fans, with an RRP of £2.35.
Be warned though, they're only a limited edition so you'd better be quick.
Shoppers have been sharing their thoughts after a snap of the new product was shared online.
"They look lush," wrote one, while someone else added: "These look good!"

Someone else was adding them straight to their shopping list, writing: "Oooh, I'm definitely going to try these," as this commented said simply: "Looks banging, I need to buy them."
Not everyone agreed though, saying you shouldn't mess with perfection: "I love both, but not sure together".
"No, Jaffa Cakes are always going to be a cake, not a biscuit," swore another purist fan.
Another who has been burned by too many AI mock-ups pleaded: "Where? Are these real? I never know if it’s a AI wind up or not!"
One reviewer who has managed to get their hands on them already said to expect something different than a Jaffa Cake filling.
Posting as John's Snack Reviews, they said: "They're identical to the Digestives caramel for texture. It's a chewy, stretchy jaffa caramel, they're not soft jelly like a jaffa cake."
