Celebrated actors Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri are gearing up to step out as The Bear stars later this month, with the beloved FX on Hulu show preparing to say farewell with its fifth and final season.
The beloved comedy-drama, which has picked up five Golden Globe awards across four years, will officially bring Carmy Berzatto, Sydney Adamu, and Richie Jerimovich’s (played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach) story to a close on 25 June.
Unlike the seminal adaptation of Jilly Cooper’s Rivals on Disney+ **or Stranger Things on Netflix, series five of The Bear is dropping all eight of its episodes simultaneously for fans to feast on.
Each episode - except the fifth instalment, ‘Raspberries’, which is being headed up by Duccio Fabbri - sees Christopher Storer, the creator, co-showrunner, and writer, sitting in the director's chair once again.

Here’s everything we know about The Bear season five, including fan theories of whether the final outing could mimic the five-time Emmy Award-winning medical drama, The Pitt.

Excitingly, all eight episodes of The Bear series five are due to drop on Disney+ in the UK on Friday 26 June.
The programme is expected to pick up following the explosive season four finale, which saw White’s character stepping away from the food and drink industry, leaving his team, including Syd and Richie to pick up the pieces.
‘Soda’, written and directed by Storer, is set to open the affair, with ‘Lamb’, and ‘Mint’, written by Rene Gube, Karen Joseph Adcock, following in quick sucession.
‘Ribs’ will serve as the mid-season episode, while ‘Raspberries’, ‘Focaccia’ and ‘Caramel’ bring up the rear.
The final episode of The Bear is titled ‘The Original Beef of Chicagoland’, the original name of the family business run by Carmy’s late brother, Mikey Berzatto (Jon Bernthal) before his death.

According to an official synopsis, the last series of The Bear will open the morning after head chef Carmy quit the restaurant.
“With no money, the threat of a sale and a torrential storm in their way, the new partners must band together with the rest of the team to achieve one last service, hoping they’ll finally earn a Michelin star.
“Ultimately, they learn that what makes a restaurant “perfect” might not be the food, but the people.”

After watching the official trailer, some TV fans have been debating what will go down in the concluding episodes of The Bear.
“For the final season, I need Syd and Richie to be the ones who save The Bear, with Carmy finally learning how to support them instead of trying to carry everything himself,” said one YouTube user.
“I'm also really hoping Ibra's arc ends up being the reason the restaurant survives.”
“I hope this has an actual story unlike seasons 3 and 4,” said a second, with someone else adding: “Yeah and definitely shows us the last day of Mikey.”

Another suggested that series five could mirror the format of The Pitt, the award-winning medical drama where every hour-long episode takes place in real time.
“Are they doing a Pitt-style season where every episode is happening on one day?,” they typed.
A fellow fan has replied, adding: “Maybe, the episode descriptions sounds like it.”
The Pitt, created by R. Scott Gemmill, has seen enormous success since it debuted on Max (later renamed HBO Max), in April 2025.
A third season of the procedural drama is expected next January.
According to the official synopsis, the likes of Edebiri and Moss-Bachrach are set to return alongside Lionel Boyce, who plays Marcus Brooks, a bread-baker-turned-pastry chef, and Jamie Lee Curtis as Carmy’s mother, Donna Berzatto.
Meanwhile, Liza Colón-Zayas, who plays Tina Marrero, Ted Fak star, Ricky Staffieri, and Marvel’s Will Poulter are all confirmed to reprise their roles.
Matty Matheson, who stars as Staffieri’s on-screen brother, Neil, and Uncle Jimmy, AKA Oliver Platt, will also return.
The Bear series five airs on Disney+ on 26 June.
