Love him or loathe him, you can’t deny that Jeremy Clarkson knows how to put a TV show together. Between Top Gear, The Grand Tour, and Clarkson’s Farm, his CV is bursting with shows that have won the world over.
Clarkson’s Farm’s fourth season has been available to stream on Amazon Prime over the past few months, continuing the story of Clarkson’s renaissance as a rural champion.
Along with contending with the constant trials and tribulations of farming, assembling a motley team of loveable characters, and coming to understand the damage that’s being done to the natural world, he’s opened a pub.

The Farmer’s Dog, located in Asthall near Burford, opened in August 2024 to enormous crowds. Clarkson’s Farm’s fourth season covered Clarkson’s hunt for a pub, the renovation process, and the extreme challenge of running the place.
Its opening day popularity has scarcely waned in the year since, with reservations being tough to come by as fans continue to flock to Clarkson’s pub.
Posting to Facebook, a user asked fellow fans: “What is the furthest anyone has travelled to specifically come here?”
There were some pretty staggering replies, and it speaks to the global popularity Clarkson can inspire with his TV formats.

“Florida USA,” said one visitor. “Tried every month to get a reservation, but we did enjoy our pint.”
“Australia, and had a fabulous meal there!” said another far-flung traveller.
“We are coming from South Australia,” shared another. “Hoping to get a reservation.” Good luck.
“We are going to travel 18750km in October for a visit from New Zealand,” said another. Even the Hardest Geezer might flinch at such a distance.
“Calgary Alberta,” shared a Canadian visitor. “Didn’t get to the pub but did get to Diddly Squat Farm.” Well, that’s something.
“About 19,500km from Auckland, New Zealand,” shared another.

In a more detailed post, one visitor from New Zealand shared: “I had booked from New Zealand and it mucks up the dates in their booking system, so it was for Tuesday not Wednesday, but the staff still looked after us beautifully and gracefully and got us a table on the day, much to our appreciation.
“The food was great, pie for me. Loved it there, good atmosphere and good staff. Came 12,000 miles to be there, recommend it to anyone.”
For all his controversies, it’s interesting to see how much Clarkson can quite literally bring the world together.
