Fans have praised Coca-Cola following the launch of a ‘game-changing’, supersized product amid a new ‘Superfan’ promotion.

Earlier this year, shoppers hailed the triumphant return of Diet Cherry Coke to the UK after a successful trial period.

Following hot on the beloved beverage’s heels is a new, limited-edition concept that affords consumers so much more bang for their buck.

And if you’ve ever downed a 330ml can of Diet Coke and wished you had had a few more sips left in the can, then this product launch is probably going to be right up your street

Introducing the Supercan: a 500ml soda upgrade for drinkers who demand more from their favourites without compromising on their ‘premium feel’.

Available in classic Coke, Diet Coke, and Coke Zero varieties, the Supercan rollout has already hit Sainsbury’s and Tesco, as well as Asda, Morrisons, and Co-op, as per Metro.

Consumers have been having their say over on Instagram, with one calling the new product a ‘game changer’.

“What I need the superfan zero edition immediately,” replied someone else.

Another wrote: “SUPERFAN. GAME CHANGER.”

Rob Yeomans, Vice-President, Commercial Development at CCEP GB, has called the 500ml can one of the ‘most exciting growth opportunities within sparkling soft drinks right now.

“By introducing the Supercan in GB, we’re giving retailers a format that shoppers are actively looking for,” he continued.

The initial launch will be followed by a dedicated campaign spanning social, influencer partnerships, PR, and shopper activation, as per an official press release.

Excitingly, every limited-edition Supercan features a unique QR code that unlocks weekly football-themed challenges and once-in-a-lifetime prizes once scanned.

“When it comes to the Supercan, a big pack means big prizes. Our Superfan promotion gives consumers a reason to engage with the Coca-Cola brand week after week, rewarding their passion with experiences only Coca-Cola can unlock as the Premier League’s Official Soft Drinks Partner.” Yeomans explained.

Winners who hit gold may find themselves with a pair of Premier League hospitality tickets, a spot at a stadium tour, the chance to watch a game with a club legend, or even come face-to-face with their favourite player.

Elodie Peribere, Senior Marketing Director, Coca‑Cola GB, said: ‘Football brings fans together like nothing else, especially at the end of the season when every goal, every save and every point matters.

“With the new 500ml Superfan Can, we’re giving supporters a bigger way to feel those moments and the chance to unlock truly unforgettable Premier League experiences.”

The cans and the Superfan promotion are available until 4 May, so you haven’t got very long to make the most of them.
