Fancy travelling the world, eating ice cream and getting paid $30,000 for the privilege?
No, this isn't a scam, we promise.
Snoop Dogg (yes, the actual Snoop Dogg) is genuinely looking for someone to become Dr. Bombay’s International Ice Cream Taster.
The rapper and entrepreneur has opened applications for the decidedly unusual three-month contract, offering $10,000 a month, for a total of $30,000, to the successful candidate

Before you ask, the job really does involve eating an awful lot of ice cream.
According to the job listing the successful applicant will become Snoop and Dr. Bombay’s 'eyes, ears and taste buds' around the world.
Their mission will be to seek out exciting frozen desserts, identify emerging flavour trends and report their findings back to the team.
In other words, you could soon be strolling through the streets of another country, sampling their finest frozen treats, while considering whether pistachio-chilli or mango sticky rice ice cream could be the next big thing.

There is, however, slightly more to the role than simply turning up with a spoon.
The chosen taster will be expected to explore different cities and cultures, investigate viral food trends, create social-first content and contribute ideas for new Dr. Bombay flavours, campaigns and experiences.
The company is looking for someone curious, outgoing and capable of turning their observations into useful insights.
Fortunately for anyone whose culinary qualifications extend no further than having strong opinions about supermarket ice cream, you do not need to be a professional chef.
The listing specifically welcomes foodies, creators, marketers, students, entrepreneurs and journalists.
However, like most things, there are a few catches.
Applicants must speak English, have a valid passport and be available for the three-month engagement.
It's also no good for vegans or those with allergies, as the lucky taster must also be capable of carrying out sensory evaluations of dairy-based ice cream, meaning you will need to take the important responsibilities of tasting, smelling and judging texture rather seriously.
The successful candidate will be employed as an independent contractor.
The role is open internationally, although the work naturally involves travelling and engaging with the Dr. Bombay team.
He posted a video to his social media, explaining; “I’m hiring an international ice cream taster here at Dr. Bombay,” he said.
“10 grand a month, you can apply anywhere in the world. Turns out going global is not that easy," he added.
"See, I love the paper, but not the paperwork. But all that is handled by Deel, and who knows? If you keep it player, you might end up here with me. So, are you ready to be Dr. Bombay’s official ice cream taster? Then go to Deel.com/Snoop and apply.”
There is a rather personal reason why ice cream matters to Snoop Dogg.
As reported by Billboard, the musician has long had a connection with the frozen dessert.
His father grew up on a dairy farm in Mississippi where ice cream was traditionally churned by hand.
Snoop later developed his own enthusiasm for ice cream with his son, Cordell Broadus, eventually turning that affection into the Dr. Bombay brand.
Launched in 2023, Dr. Bombay has since expanded its range, and has travelled beyond supermarket shelves, with a physical location on Los Angeles’ Venice Boardwalk.
Now, Snoop needs someone to help decide what comes next.
So, if your dream CV reads 'excellent communicator, experienced traveller, passionate about food and professionally enthusiastic about ice cream', this may be your moment.
Just remember: this is not technically a holiday.
It is research.
Very, very delicious research.
