McDonald’s Happy Meals are one of the most iconic options on its menu, with a long-running line of rotating prizes for kids and collectibles-focused adults to snap up.
There have been plenty of heavy-hitters over the years, from Beanie Babies to sought-after Pokémon cards, with surprise collaborations being the one constant across the ever-shifting line up.
There’s often been a double-bill of Happy Meal entries to offer different flavours for different tastes, but the incoming roster from 12 August 2025 actually blends those options into one line up.

Happy Meals will be graced with a visit from both the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and Hello Kitty and Friends, and you can already see these upcoming treats becoming collectibles from the moment they drop.
Rather than being separated out into TMNT products and Hello Kitty products, the new Happy Meal line up sees the two opposing worlds join forces with a cast of 12 TMNT-themed Hello Kitty toys.
Each Happy Meal will come with one figurine and a character card detailing their backstory and unique skills. Blended characters include Donatello and Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi with Michelangelo. If that means anything to you, we’re sure it’s exciting.
The time-limited run starts on 12 August 2025, so be sure to take the little ones – or pretend you’ve got little ones waiting in the car – to pick up a Happy Meal and snag your TMNT-Hello-Kitty toy.
Fans on Reddit are very excited for the launch.
“OMG my daughter is going to freak out. Is this happening right now?” said one Redditor.
“I want them all but I know my daughter won't let me have them,” said one man who’s letting his daughter stand between him and happiness.
“No Gudetama? I'm out,” said another. If you know, you know.

If you’re a fan of Squishmallows, consider this your last reminder to head over to the golden arches to snag one in a Happy Meal. Aldous the bat, Avery the duck, Babs the bluejay, Cam the cat, Charles the pickle, Cookie the flamingo, Halley the axolotl, Junie the banana, Maritza the cactus, Mirren the moth, Rorty the monster, Rossi the cheetah, Stevon the dog, Theotto the Cthulhu, and Zumirez the bat are all up for grabs.
Halley the axolotl is exclusive to Happy Meals, so now’s the time to pounce if you want to to add the little cutie to your collection.
