Greggs is following in the footsteps of fellow fast-food institutions by increasing prices of its meal deals, including its popular breakfast combo.
The British bakery chain, which successfully completed its ‘iconic’ sausage roll trilogy with the introduction of a chicken version last month, is said to have bumped its two-part breakfast offering up by 5p.
Previously priced at £3.15, the morning deal, which will now set you back £3.20 (1.59 percent more), features a roll with bacon, sausage, omelette, or vegan sausage and a regular hot drink or juice.
The pre-noon deal was priced at £2.95 last October, as per The Sun.

And the sunrise items aren’t the only deals involved in the price crunch.
The outlet's core lunch deal previously included any selected cold sandwich, any cold drink or any regular hot drink for £4.

Under the new price structure, the meal deal is now priced at £4.25 - a 25p (6.25 percent) increase.
The Big Deal, also available at lunchtime, has risen, too.
For £5.25, Greggs customers can grab a main dish, such as the new layered prawn pasta salad, a side and a drink.
It was £5 when it was introduced last September, meaning you will have to fork out five percent more now to get your hands on the dinnertime staple.
The good news is that the prices of individual products, such as fan-favourite pizza slices, sausage rolls, and confectionary treats have not changed.
The Sun reported that the meal deal inflation came into effect last week, and that chief executive Roisin Currie stated there were no current plans for more.
Greggs has warned that ‘prolonged’ war in the Middle East, which commenced on 28 February, could cause further price hikes and overall ‘cost inflation’ through the end of 2026 and into 2027, the outlet reported.
"So we don’t see it in the coming months but we do see towards the end of the year and into next year,” Currie is credited as saying.
"If the conflict goes on, there will be an inflationary increase on our costs.

"Where significant inflation comes through to any businesses then that does get passed through at some point to the customer," she added.
"We work really hard to protect our customers and make sure that we offer great value.”
The news comes amid McDonald’s bosses admitting that higher-priced products could be on the horizon as a result of the United States and Israel’s joint air strikes on Iran earlier this year.
Lauren Shultz, who took over the UK and Ireland arm last September, told. The Mirror: “Like any business, we have to measure cost pressures with where prices need to go. There is a predicted slight price increase.”
She continued in an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “We have been operating in a volatile, inflationary industry for years now.
“With the volatility, though, we are watching where inflation goes. We have long standing, strong relationships with our suppliers, who have given us a lot of cost certainty.
“We will likely to see some prices go up but in a small disciplined way. It is where customers are willing to pay a little bit more.”
Shultz did not reveal exactly which items would receive a price bump, but confirmed the McDonald’s Meal Deal and Saver menu items would remain the same.
Greggs has recently introduced fans to its new summer menu, featuring returning heroes like the Red Pepper, Feta and Spinach Bake, and new products such as Mango Lemonade.

There’s also recently-launched iced matcha on the menu, which come in three varieties: strawberry, vanilla, and original.
”By introducing our trio of iced matcha drinks, we’re making a trending favourite accessible to everyone on the high street,” the chain said.
“Importantly, the range doesn’t just look the part, but delivers on taste and quality too – we think our customers are going to love it so matcha.”
