Five Guys has launched a new rewards scheme in the UK as the burger chain joins the growing number of restaurants offering customers perks for repeat visits.
The chain, known for its pricey-but-tasty foil-wrapped burgers, customisable toppings, hand-cut fries, and milkshakes, has introduced Five Guys Rewards across the UK.
The loyalty programme is designed to work directly from a customer’s phone wallet rather than through a traditional points card. Customers can add a Rewards Pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, scan it when visiting a restaurant, and have offers loaded back onto the same pass.
The launch comes as major food and drink brands continue using loyalty schemes to keep customers returning amid rising menu prices and competition on the high street, and the fast food chain is making its own twist.

For anyone signing up, the main introductory offer is a free Little or Regular Fries as a welcome reward.

Explained on its Rewards page, Five Guys says new members can claim the offer after joining the programme, with rewards then available on future visits. The chain’s fries have especially been one of its best-known menu items, helped by its reputation for generous portions and the extra handfuls often found sitting at the bottom of the bag.
The scheme also includes a birthday reward, with Five Guys saying members will be able to celebrate with a free shake.
Unlike some restaurant reward programmes, Five Guys Rewards does not require customers to collect points or stamps. Instead, rewards are loaded directly into the customer’s Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
To earn future offers, customers need to scan their Rewards Pass when visiting a Five Guys restaurant and spend a minimum of £7. A Member Reward will then be added to their wallet for use on their next visit.

The brand has said rewards may include further offers across burgers, sides, and other menu items.
Five Guys CEO John Eckbert said: “We’ve always focused on delivering a great experience, from our fresh food to our friendly service.”
“Now we wanted to go that extra step further with Five Guys Rewards, it’s our way of showing our appreciation. We want our loyal customers to feel genuinely valued and looked after, celebrating their visits and deepening their connection with us, all while keeping Five Guys special.”
This is arguably the most notable move Five Guys has made recently, with others including adding loaded fries to its menu — alongside a partnership with Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone lager.
