Burger chain launches new Labubu-themed shakes

The must-have toys are difficult to come by.

If you’ve been living under a rock, you might have missed the latest collectible monster craze taking the world by storm.

Pikachu and friends won’t be going anywhere any time soon, but that doesn’t mean there’s no space for further cuddly companions in our lives. Well, maybe it does, but to each their own.

That craze is Labubu (pronounced lah-BOO-boo) – a series of collectible monster-elf hybrids that are considerably cuddlier than their vaguely menacing faces would suggest.

They’re the brain child of Kasing Lung, a Hong Kong-Belgian designer, and they’re sold exclusively by Chinese retailer Pop Mart.

Labubus comes in different colours and designs, and they each have their own names. The main character in the bunch is the eponymously-named ‘Labubu’, and they’re joined by the likes of Sesame Bean, HeHe and ZiZi among others.

They’re typically sold in blind boxes, meaning you don’t know which one you’re getting until you open it up, and they’re often attached to handbags, backpacks and the like so they can be flaunted to innocent passersby, too.

Celebrities have been raising their profile too, with pop sensation Megan Thee Stallion sharing that NBA-playing friend Klay Thompson bought her some to unbox.

Considering how wildly popular they are, they’ve become difficult to come by. However, if you live within range of a Burgatory in the US, you could snag one by entering a prize draw between 17 and 23 July 2025.

Simply head to Burgatory, order one of its exclusive Labubu Berry Shakes, take a snap of your order and post it to Instagram. You’ll need to tag @burgatorybar to ensure you’ve entered the draw.

The shakes themselves feature a Labubu-themed garnish that, as with the real thing, is down to whichever one you draw from the box. Of those, there are four to collect.

The prize draw is only running for four days, so don't delay! (@burgatorybar/Instagram)

“Meet Labubu Berry, our newest shake special landing at all Burgatory spots on Thursday!” Burgatory said in an Instagram post.

“Each shake comes topped with one of four surprise Labubu-inspired garnishes…which one will you get?!👀

“Available July 17–23 at all Burgatory spots (while supplies last!)…but there’s more!

“Snap a pic with your Labubu Berry Shake, tag @BurgatoryBar, and you’ll be entered to win a Labubu!”

This is a great opportunity to snag yourself one of the hottest products on the market right now, so if you’re keen to have one then heading to Burgatory is a good call.
