There’s nothing Nando’s fans love more than a nice portion of chicken, chips and a taste bud tingling sauce.
Whether you love flavour-packed peri-peri flame grilled chicken, their variety of grilled burgers, or the customisable heat levels and the vibe of the restaurant, Nando’s has a lot of admirers.
We can now all breathe a sigh of relief as an expert in saving money has revealed a simple way to get money off your meal, that could work.
The quick and easy hack has been doing the rounds on social media and promises foodies the same amount of food to feast on for a smaller price.

The tip was shared by Jordan Cox, who calls himself ‘Britain’s Coupon King’, on Instagram. He revealed how Nando’s customers can get ‘basically the same amount of food for £3.50 less’ if you’re smart about how you order.

What do you have to do? Order two chicken breast meals from the kid’s menu, that’s if you usually order from the Chicken Butterfly menu options.
As many Nando’s regulars will know, the Chicken Butterfly is one of the restaurant's most popular boneless options. It is made up of two chicken breast fillets and flavoured with your chosen PERi-PERi spice.
“They’re £6.50 each,” Cox explained regarding the kid’s menu. “They both come with two small sides and an apple juice.”
Buying two will cost you £13, and Cox says that the portion of the chicken and sides from the kid’s menu, ‘basically add up to the same size as the chicken butterfly, and of course you get two drinks (which you’d have to pay for otherwise).”
He added: “If you like your boneless chicken - this is probably one of the cheapest ways to do it.”
However, not everyone was sold on the hack. “I’d rather pay the full price than the embarrassment of ordering that to save £3.50,” one commenter weighed in.
“Yeah but you look a right melt,” someone else quipped.

Others were more amused, and even admitted to doing similar hacks at other establishments.
“I sometimes buy kids meals when ordering room service at a hotel, smaller portions which I’m happy with but way cheaper,” one Instagram user confessed.
While someone added: “Some people have smaller appetites and should have free will to order a kids meal.”
It’s important to note that the Nando's website says its kids menu, or the menu specifically for ‘Nandinos’, is aimed at those aged 10 and under.
