Australia’s snack selection is undeniably elite, with Tim Tams, Cheezels, and Freddo’s cousin, the Caramello Koala, all topping the list of the country’s must-try moresels.

Another favourite, which has been on the Aussie market since 1954, has finally made its way across the pond, with Britishsupermarket shoppers now able to get their fix, according to reports.

The item, first introduced in Victoria by Brockhoff Biscuits, has changed in shape and name over the years, but they’re still considered just as delicious - and now UK dwellers can finally get their fix.

As of this month, Arnott’s Shapes, a brand of savoury crackers, is finally available in various supermarkets.

Unlike Jacob’s Mini Cheddars, these oven-baked crackers come in a variety of shapes, including ovals and rectangles.

Once the company created an Australia-shaped product, flavoured with Vegemite, as per Good Housekeeping.

The baked delights contain no added preservatives, artificial colours or flavours and come foil wrapped for freshness.

Three of Arnott’s Shapes’ most iconic flavours have launched in Waitrose, Morrisons, and Ocado.

The first is Pizza, featuring a six-sided cracker covered in tomato, cheese, onion, garlic and paprika seasoning.

Meanwhile, Arnott’s Shapes Originals in Barbecue flavour promise to deliver a ‘bold hit of rich, tangy tomato with herbs and spices’ for a ‘full-on-flavour’ experience.

The third and final product to debut in British stores is crimped biscuits loaded with savoury, chicken-style seasoning.

These Shapes, known as ‘Chicken Crimpy’ flavour, also feature ‘mouth-watering’ onion, garlic, and rich umami notes, making them an absolute must-try.

All three of the flavours will be priced at £2.50 per box.

Speaking to Metro about the new launches, Jenni Dill, Chief Growth Officer at The Arnott’s Group, said: “With warmer weather just around the corner, we knew it was the perfect time for us to introduce a new snack for Brits to enjoy.

“Arnott’s Shapes delivers the flavour of a crisp and the crunch of a cracker in every single bite, which is why it’s one of Australia’s most-loved snacks.

“From games nights and movie nights, to picnics in the park and backyard BBQs, or enjoying solo at home, Arnott’s Shapes are your new snack obsession. We know this is a snack Brits will love!”

Arnott’s Shapes aren’t the only new supermarket launch recently, with McVitie’s sharing an eyebrow-raising Jaffa Cake and Digestive biscuit hybrid.

The sweet treat combines a traditional chocolate Digestive base with the iconic Jaffa Cake filling and is available to purchase in Sainsbury’s for £2.35 a pack.

“We’re well aware of the nation’s biscuit believers. In fact, we’ve spent years and a considerable amount of time proving that Jaffa Cakes (clue’s in the name) are cakes,” said a spokesperson.

“But we are setting the record straight once and for all, and it seems creating an actual biscuit is the only way forward. We hope cake and biscuit fans alike enjoy it, and that biscuit-believers across the UK can finally put the debate to bed.”

Kellogg’s has also shared a new product - Pokémon-fronted cereal boxes.

The chocolate-flavoured cereal comes in four designs featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

Some social media users have complained that the new breakfast cereal is difficult to get their hands on, with boxes being resold online via sites like eBay.

However, a Tesco spokesperson confirmed it has ‘a good availability of this line across large stores'.

Looks like you will just have to get lucky!
