If there’s one thing that’s guaranteed to happen every single morning in the Love Island villa, it’s someone drinking an iced coffee.
Before the chats, the flirting and the inevitable drama kicks off, the male Islanders can usually be spotted gathered around the kitchen making coffees for the girls they’re coupled up with, or the ones they’re hoping to get to know a little better, before delivering them into the dressing room.
In fact, in recent years, making someone their morning iced coffee just the way they like it has become something of a Love Island love language.
Whether it’s a sweet gesture for an OG couple or a way of testing the waters with a new bombshell, the villa’s coffee station has played a surprisingly important role in plenty of relationships.

While viewers have spent years obsessing over who made whose morning brew, plenty have also been wondering exactly what goes into the iced coffee that seem to keep the Islanders fuelled throughout the summer.
Although it might like look they’re spending ages creating the perfect barista-style drink, the reality is that it’s actually pretty simple.
Rather than brewing a fresh coffee every time someone fancies a drink, Islanders use the Nescafé Iced Coffee Espresso Concentrate.

It can be quickly mixed with milk and ice to create the chilled coffees we see on screen.
This isn’t just a new thing that’s been going on during series 13, the latest series of Love Island, either.
This is the second year that Islanders have been coupling up with the Nescafé iced coffee as it’s an official partner of Love Island.
The morning ritual is becoming just as much a part of the show as the fire pit, recouplings and cosy terrace chats.
The Nescafé Iced Coffee Espresso Concentrate comes in five flavours.
An unsweetened iced classic, iced caramel and iced vanilla, and new for this year, there’s also an iced mocha and decaf versions too.

The beauty of the Love Island coffee is how easy it is to make.
To recreate the villa favourite at home, simply fill a glass with ice, pour in a bit of the coffee concentrate (roughly a tablespoon’s worth) and then top up your glass with the milk of your choice.
That could be traditional cow's milk, or a plant-based alternative such as almond milk, oat milk or soy milk, depending on your preference.
You could also do a part water, part milk mix if you’d prefer, and it would still be just as good.

Give it a quick stir, and you’ve got yourself a Love Island-style iced coffee in less than a minute.
The simplicity is probably one of the reasons it's become such a staple in the villa.
Of course, no Love Island iced coffee would be complete without the right cup.
The Islanders are usually seen sipping their drinks from either clear striped glasses or reusable tumblers with straws, both of which have become staples of life in the villa.
Here are some similar tumblers that would be perfect for your morning iced coffee:

With contestants juggling challenges, dates and long days filming in the Majorcan heat, an easy-to-make iced coffee is a pretty appealing way to start the day.
For fans of the show, the morning coffee run has become a daily event in its own right.
Viewers regularly analyse who made a coffee for whom, who forgot to make one, and what it might mean for the latest villa relationships.

A simple iced drink has somehow become one of the biggest indicators of where everyone's heads are at.
If you've ever found yourself watching Love Island and wondering how to recreate the Islanders' go-to morning beverage, the answer is refreshingly straightforward.
