The Super Bowl officially rolls into the Bay Area this weekend - and attendees are seriously spoiled for choice when it comes to food options available at the game.
According to ticket seller Vivid Seats, the lowest price for a single seat to watch the New England Patriots face off against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday (8 February) is a jaw-dropping $2,407.
If you’ve already managed to snag your ticket, then be prepared to fork out around $14 for a large draft beer at the event, which is being held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, for the first time in a decade.
Not only is the golden alcoholic liquid on sale at Super Bowl LX, but punters will be able to sample: pints of Fog City Frozen Irish Coffee topped with an ice cream cookie sandwich, a special ‘Golden Gate’ mule, and a Don Julio Reposado with a Tajin rim.

There’s also a smorgasbord of delicious Bay Area-inspired food on offer, with Levy Restaurants being in charge of the menu, according to CBS Sports.
Speaking on the dishes being whipped up for the NFL Championship game, Chef Jon Severson told ABC 7 News: “I kind of issued this challenge to all the chefs that I work here with, and I was like, 'Let's all come up with a cool dish. Let's create a wow item.'
“Most NFL stadiums don't get to host a Super Bowl very often. So, we really wanted this to be memorable," he added.

With the San Francisco Bay Area being world-renowned for its seafood selection, it’s no surprise that some fishy delights have ended up on sale.
Delicacies include Hog Island Oysters, straight from Tomales Bay in Marin County.
There are set to be shuckers set up throughout the 62,500 capacity stadium - but if you’re not a mollusc fan, then perhaps the Dungeness crab potachos will tickle your fancy.
Severson described the crab-topped treat as the venue’s take on an ‘upscale Super Bowl-worthy nacho’.

Instead of using classic tortillas, the chefs will layer local, fresh Dungeness crab with white cheddar fondue on top of potato chips.
More savoury staples include steak-topped garlic fries, dim sum, an American wagyu burger topped with bone marrow aioli and house-brined pickles, Doritos loaded triangles, shrimp and avocado cocktails, and a so-called ‘Chinatown Dawg’.
The latter will feature a Chinese hot mustard, char siu pork, sriracha, and shredded yellow daikon-topped footlong beef hot dog.

Arguably, though, the real star of the show is The LX Hammer Burger, which reportedly weighs 3.5lb and will set you back a mighty $180.
Described as a ‘shareable spin on a cheeseburger’ by Forbes, the meat stack features a braised bone-in beef shank, roasted mirepoix demi-glace (a French brown sauce) and Point Reyes bleu cheese fondue plastered between on a house-based brioche bun.
CBS Sports described the feast as probably weighing ‘more than a small baby’.
In terms of sweet treats, there is fresh fruit and sourdough cinnamon rolls to chow down on.

Speaking about the menu, Lou Bastian, senior vice president of culinary for all of Levy’s West Coast locations, told Forbes that he wanted people to ‘try cool stuff and want to get pictures with it’.
“We spent nine months developing all these items, we want to make sure they look the way they are supposed to look.”
Admitting his team is trying to ‘raise the bar’ when it comes to Super Bowl food offerings, the culinary expert added: “You don’t get to do this that often. We are trying to show our stuff.
“As a chef that is really cool. For me, it is all about the food. We are going to crush it.”
