Ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup opener, fans were debating drink prices, with one calling them ‘f**king shocking’.

The reveal came amid the Netherlands and Japan’s 2-2 draw at the venue, with journalist James Olley sharing a snap of the food and drink offerings via X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Seen worse but water at $8.25 is criminal,” someone else argued.
Another said: “If not one person buys anything they’ll get the message . You won’t so they won’t.”
Others have claimed that the venue prices are in line with what NFL and MLS fans are paying on the regular, with one typing: “Actually close to normal price for international tournaments.”
“It's mental but also normal over there - went to a couple of gigs in LA and San Fransisco earlier in year and $20 for a sh**e beer,” a second alleged.
A third added: “Seems alright tbf. A bit high but what you would expect attending a sporting event.”
The Dallas Stadium is set to host three more group games before the tournament is done: Argentina vs Austria (22 June), Japan vs Sweden (25 June), and Jordan vs Argentina (27 June).
The venue will then be used for two Round of 32 games on 30 June and 3 July; a Round of 16 bout on 6 July, and a semi final on 14 July.
The LADbible Group has previously contacted the AT&T Stadium for comment.

The TSA has also issued a warning to Brits discovering Ranch at football games for the first time, reminding them to adhere to liquid standards when flying.
On 12 June, agents reminded flyers that if their ‘carry-on checklist’ featured: ‘Ranch (3.4oz or less), snacks, and Ranch for the snacks’ then they were ‘good to go’.

“If you’re visiting for a very large sporting event & you happen to discover RANCH while you’re here… pls pack it in your CHECKED BAG on the way home,” another message shared via Instagram Threads read.
“OK please avoid chugging your ranch outside secruity the airlines will check it for you,” a third dip-centric post warned.
