Kahlúa teams up with Dunkin' for ultimate new coffee liqueur

Everyone is agreed that it's a match made in heaven.

Dunkin’ is back at it - but this time they’re not fuelling your morning. They want to be in your glass at night too.

The iconic coffee chain has teamed up with legendary coffee liqueur brand Kahlúa to drop a brand-new boozy drink that might just ruin your diet and your bedtime.

It’s called the Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur, and it’s basically your go-to caramel iced coffee… with a solid kick.

This sweet collab starts with Kahlúa’s classic mix of rum and coffee, but gets a full Dunkin’ makeover with their most beloved flavour swirl - caramel. It’s smooth, rich, sticky-sweet, and dangerously easy to drink.

Coming in at 16% ABV, the Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur is already hitting shelves across the US at spots like Total Wine for around $25.99. And yep, that’s a fair bit stronger than Dunkin’s last foray into boozy drinks - those 5-6% spiked coffees they launched with Harpoon Brewery in 2023.

The new drink is inspired by how people already enjoy Kahlúa: “Mixed with coffee, cream, or milk," Kahlúa's Marketing VP Caroline Begley, told Food & Wine.

Begley says teaming up with Dunkin’ was a no-brainer thanks to the brand’s 'relevance in people’s daily routines.' She called the final flavour 'balanced,' blending 'creamy sweetness and rich depth' with notes of toffee, dulce de leche, vanilla, and chocolate.

You can sip it neat, pour it over ice, or - if you’re feeling extra - blend it into a frozen coffee cocktail and top it with a skewered Munchkin donut hole. Seriously.

The drink even uses Arabica coffee beans from Veracruz, Mexico - the same slow-grown beans that give classic Kahlúa its smooth flavour. So it’s not just sweet, it’s legit.

If you need a final push to grab a bottle, the caramel-laced liqueur was just named one of the best liqueurs of 2025 by the New York International Spirits Competition. Not bad for a brand that made its name on breakfast runs.

So whether you’re a hardcore Dunkin’ fan or just someone who likes their coffee with a splash of chaos, this could be your new go-to nightcap.

Just don’t expect to get anything productive done after drinking it.
