If you love treating yourself to a pint in the pub but hate queuing and paying over-inflated prices, you'll love this nifty gadget from Amazon.

You can get yourself a 'perfect pub pint' without any awkward small talk thanks to the Guinness Draught Nitrosurge Device.

Fans of the gadget have hailed it an 'absolute game changer' for drinking Guinness at home, and it'll only set you back £20, a saving of 33%.

Think of how much money you'll save down the boozer, too; with the can inserts costing just £7.12 for four, it works out as just £1.78 per pint.

If you want to up your game when it comes to splitting the G, you can practice at home with a set of branded glasses.

The two glasses are on offer for £19.39.

Is the Nitrosurge worth it?

YouTuber Daragh Curran told LADbible what he makes of the gadget.

He thinks it's a steal, particularly for Christmas.

“I think [it’s] worth it, especially around Christmas time with group gatherings. It makes a significantly better pint than a regular can," he explained.

On YouTube, Curran added: “Yes it’s a bit of a gimmick don’t get me wrong - but for me it produces by far the best Guinness you can get out of a can.”

Amazon Reviews

Many happy customers agree with the YouTuber, with thousands of positive reviews on the official Guinness product.

In need of a last minute Christmas gift? One fan wrote: "Nicely packaged , bought as a Christmas gift for my dad," and was excited to see what he thinks.

This reviewer will happily trade in the pub for the home-poured version: "One of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I honestly can’t believe how good of a pint you get from this. Beats most pub pints hands down."

Another added: “Such a clever little device! Easy to use and produces a top quality pint, just like you'd get in the pub!."

This reviewer praised the texture: “Works really well. The difference is huge. Nice creamy head that is impossible to achieve without it.”

Another hailed it a 'game changer' and swore they've never had one this good at home before.

“It's better than some draught Guinness that I have had from a pub. You may think it a bit expensive but it's worth every penny. If you like Guinness, get one of these. You won't regret it," added another.

How does then Guinness Nitrosurge work?

It probably all sounds too good to be true, but the Guinness Nitrosurge does what it promises.

It offers the ‘complete pouring experience’ without leaving the house, and it couldn't be simpler.

First, you need to keep the Guinness Draught Nitrosurge beer in the fridge for at least 24 hours to make sure it's perfectly chilled.

Next attach the pourer to the top of the can, line up the nozzle and press down firmly.

Hit the power button, and the iconic Guinness two-part pour begin.

The well-known Guinness Harp logo will light up, and the precision ultrasonic transducer’ will pulse.

That's your sign to pour the Guinness horizontally into a chilled glass (maybe one of these two?)

After the glass has reached two thirds full, let the drink rest for around 60 seconds.

Finally, finish off your pint with that infamous creamy top to it, and you'll have the perfect Guinness in your own home.

Enjoy!
