Brooklyn Beckham, son of global icons David and Victoria, has had an interesting career so far. Having been in Arsenal’s academy until 15 whilst working part-time in a coffee shop, he unfortunately didn’t make the cut for a life in professional football.
By then he’d already begun work as a model, too, and at 16 he was doing photography for Burberry. His photography skills saw him publish a book of his snaps in 2017, What I See, and he’s more recently been pursuing his interest in cooking.
On top of that he’s also an entrepreneur, founding Cloud23 hot sauce off the back of his journey through the culinary world.
Despite being a busy man, he’s got a remarkably grounded approach to home life.
Speaking to People, Beckham detailed how he takes the reins with cooking at home for wife, actor Nicola Peltz.

“I love cooking my wife stuff, and I try and cook every night,” he said.
“It's just me listening to my music, maybe watching a movie, having a drink. I get lost in it.”
Beckham also detailed how he and his wife like trying out TikTok-propagated food trends, with the weird and wonderful concoctions keeping the budding chef on his toes.
“I tell you, my wife sends me so much stuff on TikTok,” he said. “She's like, ‘Can you please make me this little snack?’”
Referring to a video that's been doing the rounds on TikTok, he continued: “She sent me this one the other day of this pickle cut in half, scraped out with a bit of cream cheese and everything, bagel seasoning and lemon pepper seasoning. She sent me that and we made it. It's like our new late-night snack.”
A big pickle might be an unusual alternative to a slice of bread or a baguette, but if you’re a carbs-conscious model then perhaps the tang and crunch of a pickle becomes particularly appealing.

People also asked him who his ideal dinner guest, living or dead, would be, to which he responded: “Probably the Beatles. I think that would be really cool. Yeah, I'd make probably a traditional fish and chips sandwich.”
It seems Brooklyn Beckham has a penchant for keeping his cooking simple. In step with the understated grub he’d whip up for the Fab Four, he cited a recent spaghetti bolognese he put together for dinner.
Who knows where Beckham’s culinary pursuits will take him, but maybe there’s a Jamie Oliver-like future in store for him if he sticks with mastering and sharing the basics.
