A man who previously worked as Donald Trump's butler revealed the controversial way the president likes his steak.
Trump is known for his diet consisting almost entirely of fast food and Diet Coke in the day to day.
Such is the US president's fondness for fast food that his former campaign advisors Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie have even previously described the president's 'four basic food groups' as McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza, and Diet Coke.
Trump has also previously made headlines when he served dignitaries McDonald's at a White House event, and the New York Times has previously reported that he drinks as many as 12 cans of Diet Coke a day.

When he's not tucking into Maccies or KFC, Trump is also reportedly fond of having a steak.
But in line with Trump's controversial attitude to more or less everything, he of course prefers his steak cooked in a way that would make a chef weep.
That is, he likes his steaks well done... and served with ketchup.

Tony Senecal was previously Trump's butler at his Mar-a-Lago residence, and revealed that Trump liked his steak 'overcooked' and 'no garbage with it'.
'Garbage' here refers to things like vegetables, garnishes, sides, and sauces.
So just a plain lump of overcooked meat, with ketchup. Sounds delicious.
It's not the only time that Trump has shown an unusual taste in food.

His ally Joe Gruters, the Republican National Committee chair, recalled a strange moment with the president on the 2024 campaign trail where Trump created his own 'secret menu' item.

Gruters said: “He had a Filet-o-Fish, a Quarter Pounder, a Big Mac, and I think he combined two of them.
“I had two of the sandwiches and I was as sick as a dog for 24 hours, but I did enjoy it."

It's not clear exactly what the combination was that Trump concocted in this moment, and there are a number of possibilities.
It could be that he combined Filet-o-Fish with one of the beef burgers in a fast food take on Surf 'n' Turf.
Alternatively, maybe one beef burger just wasn't enough for Trump so he smashed them together to create a 'Quarter Mac', or a 'Big Pounder'.
Trump is teetotal, but his fondness for Diet Coke is well documented.

In addition to his high consumption of it, it has even reported that he had a special button installed in the Oval Office which he could press for someone to bring him a coke.
