Fans have a brand-new way to honour Dolly Parton as the music mogul’s Cup of Ambition coffee brand finally launches after more than four decades in the works.
On 25 August, country star Parton died at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Centre in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 80.
Her devotees were quick to make vows to travel to Dollywood and pick up a pack of Cinnamon Bread to honour her legacy—and now there’s another exciting way to keep the 11-time Grammy winner’s memory alive.
Introducing A Cup of Ambition: a coffee brand launched in partnership with Community Coffee.

Inspired by the icon’s hit ‘9 to 5’, the company was apparently a dream of Parton, who had been ‘working towards’ the release for over 40 years.

“This is just one of those dreams that’s taken a little longer than I thought it might, but we’ve got it and it’s working,” the late artist said in June during a visit to Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop.
“I can’t wait for you to try it. But I couldn’t be more happy with it. Community Coffee has been a fantastic partner for me and I like the way they think.”
Dolly's Cup of Ambition coffee is designed for ‘dreamers, the do-ers, and everyone rising to meet the day’, according to the official website.
The first products on sale include ground coffee in a light, medium, and dark roast. Prices start at $12.99.
Soon, K-Cup pods will be sold, with shipping expected to commence after 15 October. They will also retail for £12.99.
Each bag of coffee features classic Southern-inspired packaging with a cartoon-version of Parton's face front and centre.

Sales will support Parton’s Imagination Library, which aims to encourage young children to love reading, People Magazine reported.
Meanwhile, Community Coffee will serve as the anchor funding partner for Lafayette Parish in Louisiana.
You can pick up via Amazon and Walmart now!
Speaking about the posthumous launch, Donna Saurage, third-generation owner of Community Coffee said: Dolly had a warmth that made you feel like you’d known her forever.
“We connected over our love of family, serving our communities and bringing people together, and it was a true joy to help make her dream of a Cup of Ambition coffee become a reality.”

Fans have taken to social media to discuss Parton’s new coffee line, with one X user typing: “RIP. The sweetest smile and personality that can sell anything. Will never be forgotten; an absolutely beautiful soul.”
“Dolly could sell me coffee at 3am and id thank her for it tbh,” chimed in someone else.
A third reported that the line should’ve been called ‘Cup of JO-lene’, while another said: “RIP Dolly, that’s a nice way to go out.”
